I am 45yrs old. Started high BP (160/100) after my son's accidental death. Initially controlled with Telma- AMH 80. Later I started morning walk & meditation and found BP lower side (95-130/60-70). Then I reduced my dose to Telma AMH-40. With this my BP is between (100-130/75-90). I have observed that some time I forget to take medicine and on checking BP is always under control (130/80). Should I continue or I can go for lower dose? I am doing meditation regularly. ...

I am taking Listril-SM tab one in the morning and Tenoric-50 one at night. I have now been advised to take Telma-AM-H-80 one per day. I had previously tried Telma-40 and subsequently Telma-H as per Doctor's advise but it failed to maintain my blood pressure. Should the new medicine will be of any use ? ## There are differences in these medications. The original Telma only contains the active ingredient Telmisartan, the Telma-H contained that, with the addition of Hydrochlorothiazide. The Telma-AM-H combines both of those ingredients, with Amlodipine, so yes, it could give you better blood pressure control, but the only way to know is to follow your doctors instructions and try it. As to which he should use, he should consult his doctor. They Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic, so it removes excess fluid from the body and his doctor may feel there is a need for it. Has he contacted his doctor, yet? ## Use of Telma-H may increase blood sugar level? ...
