I am a heart patient, I woke up this morning with a tooth ache. I was wondering if Ciprofloxacin would help with the swelling and pain ## Hello, Stailiana! How are you doing? Ciprofloxacin is an antibiotic, so it may help with swelling that is due to an infection, but it will not directly help with the pain. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. In a few days, if the pain is due to an infection and the antibiotic starts to eradicate the bacteria, the pain may start to ease, but that's a long, miserable time to wait. Since you are a heart patient, you definitely need to see your dentist, because a dental infection risks creating an infection in your heart valves. Do you frequently get toothaches?...

I had been taking hydro 325 7.5 and diazepam for a number of years now for arthritis in my back and neck, tendonitis, nerve pain, degenerative muscle disease in shoulders and it worked pretty good for me. I was given Tylenol3 and flexerel which didn't help at all but now she wants to give me hydro 5 325 alone which does nothing. Although nothing completely stops the pain could you suggest something that i could talk with my doctor about that could possibly help everything?
