I have taxim-o 200. Can i give it to my child and how much of dosage of it? ## Hi shree, Taxim-O contains the active ingredient Cefixime, this is an antibiotic used to treat infections; (including gonorrhea and tonsillitis). The dosage and Administration guidelines for this medication state the following: For Children: The recommended dose is 8mg/kg/day of the suspension.
