Tapering Off Brintellix

Day 7 on 10mg Brintellix. Nausea improving. Daily neck pain and headaches. Anxiety through the roof. Not sleeping at all. Insane watery diarrhea since day 5. Need something mainly for anxiety. Not feeling hopeful about Brintellix. ## I'm very sorry that you're so miserable. Those can be normal side effects of such a medication, usually they last about 3 to 4 weeks, before tapering off and then going away entirely. You may also experience dizziness and weight changes, as reported by the FDA. Has there been any change, yet?

I have been on Trintellix 20 mg for quite some time, my pshychiatrist started tapering me off gradually ,during this process i experience several symptoms that were listed but also noticed problems of paronoia and now that i have stopped taking trintellix the paronoia has sky rocketed as well as the anxiety and vomiting has anyone experienced a problem with paronoia while being TAPERED OFF of trintellix or once they completely STOPPED taking trintellix? ## That is possible, depending on how long you were taking it and how rapid the taper was, it might have been too fast for you. I tapered off Effexor XR and onto 10mg Brintellix. No withdrawal symptoms - seamless transition. I have been on Brintellix now for about 3 weeks. I have to say I feel more alert, my anxiety is low, my sleep is better. So far so good. I had to stop taking Tramadol and Buspar to avoid the interaction but have had no need for the Buspar since and I can just take another opiod pain killer if I need to. I we recently put on an antidepressant called Brintellix 10mg. However i have been on tramadol 50mg 2x a day for over 2 years and 300mg gabapentin 3x a day for 2 years. As well as norco 7.5 3x day. I've only been on brintellix a week and nervous that maybe that's too much serotonin medicine. Does that make sense? ## Yes, it does make sense and it is a possible risk. Serotonin syndrome can be very dangerous. Have you had any other symptoms aside from the tiredness?
