I would like to know which drug is similar to tramadol but can be taken with lexapro? ## Unfortunately, from what I am finding, all of the centrally acting analgesics in that class can cause problems with Serotonin Syndrome, if they are taken with the Lexapro. The same warnings come up for the other options, such as Tapentadol: Has your doctor recommended anything? ## As usual Verwon has been to the reference library. It is true that really only the relatively new to market tapentadol HCl, branded Palexia, Tapal, and in USA Nucynta, is similar in that it is both a mild opioid and SNRI.
