The pharmacy gave me my prenatal vitamins and they are different they are like a cookies and cream pill with sc17 on it I want to make sure that's what they are because the bottle says. Found a bag of pills. Small round tan with a cursive lower case v on one side. Nothing else. I filled the bag with water and they dissolved almost immediately ## Hi addy, Unfortunately, after trying several searches I haven't been able to locate a match in any of the U.S. prescription drug databases. I did find however that the manufacturer who makes the cursive "V" is Vintage Pharmaceuticals Inc. I would suggest that you try contacting them directly by searching on google (as of yet I haven't been able to locate their official webpage, but they do have contact info floating around the net). Alternatively, if you're able to, I would consider taking the pill over to your local pharmacy and having it analyzed by their team to see if they can come up with anything. Also...

Says methocarbam on bottle but has AP 211 on tannish oblong pill was a prescription for me but I'm not sure. ## Hello, Vicki! How are you? I found a half of a pill with an 8 on one side in my brothers room. It was small and tan with whit on the inside. What could it be? ## I'm sorry, but without knowing the full imprint, it is going to be difficult to figure out what this tablet contains, there are quite a few possibilities, both among prescription and over the counter medications. Friend gives 2 pills got 50 deep etched into one side and nothing on the other. I was told its a sleeping pill. It has a strange odour can't describe it. Probably 5 mm give or take. Looked all over with no answer. ## Turns out that is a prescription called Amitriptyline, brand Elavil. It's a tricyclic antidepressant. It affects chemicals in the brain that may become unbalanced. Amitriptyline is used to treat symptoms of depression.
