which pharmacies have oxycodone 15mg 11/01/12 in tampa area? i switched from 30 mg to 15mg thinking it would be easier. both my husband and i were in a major head on collision. we have been looking over a week and nothing, nobody has them. we both have ddd. husband is a stroke patient and i have ms also besides all the accident injuries that are pretty severe. now everyone is telling me the end of next week. we cant make it that long! they are making it so you HAVE to go buy it on the streets, which i will NOT do. why do the drug dealers have them but people with real pain and drs cant get them filled? i have insurance too. i dont understand what the problem is? what to do? where to go? there is NO reason for this. ## Have you tried contacting your insurance provider to see if they have...

Like everyone else I am having a hard time finding a pharmacy that will fill my pain medication, I live in Brandon near Tampa Fla. My Dr. will only give me certain meds because he is aware of the problems getting some meds filled. When I went to the pharmacy I asked him and he said the same thing, I then said I guess I could do a mail order for the meds the pharmacy won't fill and the pharmacist told me that it is illegal to get narcotic pain meds mailed in Florida. I just had a script filled by mail in March, does anyone know if they changed that law? I know a lot of new regulations went into effect April 1st. New to the area and looking for a doctor who won't be a pain about prescribing Ritalin or Adderall for adult ADHD. ## Well, the best thing you can do is to make an appointment with a new doctor and not ask for any particular medication up front. You need to get in for an appointment first and then discuss your treatment options. However, since these are controlled substance medications, doctors do have to be careful about prescribing them, so you aren't going to find a doctor that will just be carefree and throw prescriptions at you. I have been taken off soma by my pain doc in Sarasota. Does anyone know a pain doc in Sarasota, Bradenton, St Petersburg or Tampa Florida who still writes them? Skelaxin makes me have nausea & vomiting, on flexeril I fell asleep driving and nearly crashed, baclofen did the same with sleepiness. Please help, I'm so uncomfortable. I was on soma for 17 years. I looked on the website and i did see Medicaid. As an acceptable insurance. However its quite possible the Medicaid was added in for addiction treatment. I do not know. Walgreens and Cvs in Tampa FL are not carrying oxycodone or dilaudid. Most pharmacys will fill for cash. I am disgusted. ## Walgreens pharmacy manager just told me that they will only fill opiate perscriptions from pain management dr's for a maximum of 6 months. ## I really can't blame you for being so frustrated with this whole situation going on in Florida. Dear friends. I too am in the same situation. I live in the Tampa area of Florida. It seems that the powers that be are choking off the supply of these drugs. I am now trying to get oxy from Optumrx, a mail order pharmacy. I did receive my meds last month a week late. Now they have changed the rules to a 80% ER and a 20% IR. I understand that they will eventually taper me off to no pills at all! That's not acceptable as I live with chronic pain. I am looking into changing my meds to a more available med.
