Taking Diazepam And Hydrocodone

I had been taking hydro 325 7.5 and diazepam for a number of years now for arthritis in my back and neck, tendonitis, nerve pain, degenerative muscle disease in shoulders and it worked pretty good for me. I was given Tylenol3 and flexerel which didn't help at all but now she wants to give me hydro 5 325 alone which does nothing. Although nothing completely stops the pain could you suggest something that i could talk with my doctor about that could possibly help everything?

Having dental work in 4 days. I take 10/325 hydrocodone, but will need to also take a valium that a.m. due to severe apprehension at dentists. I would like to know if you have to have a prescription for Acetaminophen, Caffeine, Chlorpheniramine, Hydrocodone,or Phenylephrine? ## Well for a couple of the individual ingredients (such as Caffeine and Acetaminophen) you don't because they are over the counter. But for Hydrocodone or this actual combination of meds then I would say yes, definitely... ## The Doctors are so scared of abuse here that in our small town they will not give you narcotics unless you have been in a serious wreck or have bad kidney stones. I had a stone once and was given just Darvocet. in error earlier i took 1 10mg diazepam & now find out that i am supposed to be taking hydrocodone/apap 10mg/500mg will this make a problem?? ## If you took them together, you may experience worsened side effects, such as nausea, drowsiness and dizziness. However, if not and you just move on with taking the correct medication, there should not be a problem. They are two completely different medications, though, so I am curious as to how you mixed them up? The Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen is a narcotic pain reliever, commonly referred to by the brand name Vicodin. And the Diazepam, better known as Valium, is a Benzodiazepine used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders.

As long as they've all been prescribed for you and your doctor hasn't given you instructions not to do so. The main risk is the fact that they all increase sedation, so you may experience a lot of dizziness and drowsiness. It may be too much for you and you might do better taking them at different times of day. The Hydrocodone and Diazepam also carry the risk of being habit forming, according to the FDA. What times do you usually take them and what are the dosages?

I am a chronic pain patient and I have slowly got off hydrocodone 10mg-325 acetaminophen and acetaminophen#4 due to stomach issues. I also take other meds cyclobenzaprine diazepam, nortriptyline . I was prescribed the 25mg patch. after reading info with meds it states DO NOT TAKE IF NOT ALREADY USING OPIOID PAIN MED. I am scared to death to try this med. Mallinckrodt hydrocodone/apap pills several years ago changed. This sounds like a similar thing to what used to be the caplet (large) shaped pills; M 0367 is now the M367 10/325mg tablet. I believe that they all changed to the same size and shape, dropping initial '0'. Some codes went out of use, most changed inbthe way described, but this tablet, if one og those, is unlikely to be of use, those things having changed well over 15 years ago. Advice; email Covidien. So my Dr. gave me a UA because she was prescribing me hydrocodone. I thought oh great I'm not gonna have enough hydrocodone in my sytem, due to finishing the Script a couple days before. Well she tells me I tested positive for Diazepam (Valium). I never took anything like that. She didn't believe me and let me go as her patient. I have been under her care for 2 years. What would cause testing positive for something like that? Now I'm without a Dr. and my meds. Any helpful knowledge of this would be greatly appreciated. I'm on diazepam and hydrocodone. I went to the hospital where they gave me a shot of Dilaudid and my drug screen urine came back today that I was on Oxycodone. I am prescribed lamotrigine, buspirone, lexapro, abilify, diazepam, naproxen, hydrocodone, mehylphenidate, nuvigil and sudogest.
