I took 25 mg atenolol around 3 pm. And forgot I did. I took another tablet around 7 pm. I am worried. My doctor told me doesn't seem to be dangerous. I asked how low can by pulse go. He said it depends on how I feel. My pulse is oscillating between 49 and 55. My blood pressure was lower than normal. But now it is ok. It is just my pulse. I am afraid to sleep for fear of my pulse going to low. ## Hello, Maria! How are you? Did it go any lower? Most people do take 50 to 100mgs a day, so that isn't a dangerous dose, unless you'd be allergic to it, or your heart rate would drop too much. The FDA lists its other typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and increased urination. Did you try some activity or anything to help raise it some?

Can I take 8 ml of suboxone if I took 2 panidine forte a few hours ago ## Hello, Gojo! How are you? No, you cannot take Suboxone, until you are in full withdrawal from all other opiates, otherwise, it could throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

Not Worth it try something else ## I am very sorry about what happened to you and we appreciate the warning you've posted here for others that might want to try to use Redotex for weight loss. My father recently passed away pretty unexpectedly. Nothing was wrong with the man, except that he had beginning stage Parkinsons. He was on Requip for it since last May. It controlled his shakes, but he developed Interstitial Lung Disease from the drug. The disease is listed as a side effect, but I had to DIG for that info. No doctor told him anything about all the other things that could go wrong. WE BLAME REQUIP. And I miss my father. ## Hello, Erin! I am so very sorry about your loss. Losing a parent is always so hard, no matter what causes it. Both of mine are gone, now, and I miss them every day!!! While there are risks associated with all medications, and medical treatments, it doesn't help alleviate the anguish, when something happens to someone we love. Has his case been re...

I've been on klonopin for a little over 20 years now. 6mgs daily. Was able to taper down to 2-4 mgs while pregnant under ob/gyn care. Even on such a lower dose, bad things occurred. I was horrid. Assaulted my husband. Told a woman she was a bad mom cuz her kids were so unruly. Was aggressive and mean. Had brain zaps. Would forget normal words. When ordering pizza, when asked what toppings I wanted on it, I told them I wanted pizza on it. I've been on this med for so long, my dr will call it in with refills. While I was pregnant, I saw a high risk dr. He told me it would take years for me to get off of this if I was even able to for being on it for so long. Dr that first put me on this didn't talk about how addictive and dangerous it was. Was 18 and didn't think to really...

BottomLine Health lists this as a dangerous drug Doctors still subscribe ## It is listed as dangerous probably because it can be addictive. It is really dangerous for someone who has a history of drug/alcohol addiction. It is only supposed to be used for short term sleeplessness though. ## The reality, on top of what nenene already said, is that ALL prescription drugs are dangerous. That is why they are controlled substances and require prescriptions to obtain them. They all have side-effects, it is a side-effect of their chemical make up that you are relying on when you take a drug. You will not be able to purchase any prescription drug that does not carry various dangers of some kind, there are even dangers with over the counter meds if you read all the packaging. So simply put, there...

I still have a headache and was going to take some aleve. Needed to know if there was any danger in taking them together ## Hello, Cornflake! How are you? A headache can be a side effect of the antibiotic and yes, there shouldn't be any problem taking the Aleve with it, but it's always best to double check this information to be sure. Other side effects to the antibiotic may include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. The Aleve may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I'm on day 3 of a 7 day course of Nitrofurantoin (4x50mg). After taking my third dose, I experienced what I would describe as 'flu' like symptoms; aches, shivers and general malaise. The next day I felt much better - the 'flu like' symptoms were gone but I still felt a bit nauseous and had diarrhoea. However the symptom I'm most worried about is a cough I've developed. I'm a smoker, bit can't touch a cigarette as I go into spasms of coughing. I'm happy to put up with side effects as my UTI appears to be improving - as long as none of the side effects are considered dangerous. I should also add I'm due to fly tomorrow and wonder if my breathing/cough would beade worse. ## HI, Anne! How are you feeling? Yes, the dry air of a plane may make it a ...

Danger of Over dose on Meloxicam: I was given sample bottle of Meloxicam 15 mgs, to take "as necessary per route" as instruction said, so I took it TWICE a day, at morning and at night. Some of my blood word result levels are high and I am wondering if this overdose of Meloxicam has something to do with these high level results?! ## Hello, Barbara! How are you? What blood results were high? I'm sorry, but I'm unable to help you, without more information. Can you please post back and clarify? Thank you! Meloxicam is usually dosed just once a day in a maximum of 15mgs. The FDA classifies it as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's most commonly used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased...

I have some naproxen pills from a surgery a couple years back, and I have a symptom that needs an anti-inflammatory. Is it safe to take the outdated naproxen? ## There's actually a lot of conflicting information around the topic of expired medication, but according to a Harvard Medical School family health article, except in rare cases (i.e. tetracycline), there is little chance of danger due to taking medications even up to 15 years beyond their expiration date. This conclusion was based upon a study conducted at the request of the US military due to stockpiles of expensive drugs they could otherwise need to replace every few years. The conclusion was that 90% of those drugs remained effective 10 - 15 years after the expiration date. But the question is whether or not the drug you ...

Dangerous for non-adults. Parents, don't give this to your children! Some may get delusional, some have their thinking disrupted in other ways, some have even worse reactions. Not everyone is susceptible, just as different adults can react differently to the same medication. This is a drug abused by those who know it can make you feel high. Spend the money on plain tylenol instead of codeine; a better antihistamine; a separate decongestant. Don't cheap out because coactifed may be covered by insurance, but the individual medications may not be covered.

My father was a chronic pain patient with a spinal tumor who was moved off of Oxycontin and Dilaudid to methadone. Unfortunately, after a long, log battle, he became completely paralyzed and the tumor was in the process of killing him. He asked to be terminally sedated. The doctors put him on a morphine drip, but even after they quadrupled his dose, he was still in pain and awake. Eventually, they got to 4000mg a DAY of IV morphine, and it was ineffective. We did our research, and it showed there is NO conversion rate for methadone to morphine equivalents as there is with every other opioid. In other words, just to duplicate the 30-40mg a day of morphine he was taking would have required anywhere from 240-3000mgs of morphine - forget actually sedating him. They went to something like 40...
