I was prescribed percocet 5mg as a post surgery medication. It is labeled to take 1-2 every 4-6 hours as needed for pain, 60ct. How long should it last? ## Hmmm, I'll try doing the math two ways. First, I'll assume that you are taking the lowest possible dose, which is 1 every 6 hours. And then I'll run the numbers assuming you are taking the highest possible dose, which is 2 every 4 hours. Here we go: 1 tablet every 6 hours = 4 tablets per day. 60 tablets divided by 4 = 15 days. 2 tablets every 4 hours = 12 tablets per day. 60 tabs / 12 = 5 days. So your answer is between 5 and 15 days depending on how high and how frequent your dose is. Can someone please check my math?? (LOL) Hope you have a quick recovery!
