Unlike Codein, Hydrocodone, Pholcodin and the likes it is not an opioid and has no sedating or constipating side effects. It's also very safe to use in children. Why it's not being used in UK, US, AU etc. is beyond me. It's very popular in continental Europe. Adverse effects are mild and rare and include nausea, skin rash and vertigo. ## Hi, Good day. I have a tablet of Sinecod Forte, what is it used for? ## What is the function of sinecod and what is it predominantly use for. Is it for what disease process and what are the contradictions and what drugs should not be taken when taking sinecod? ## Sinecod contains Butamirate and is used to help prevent coughing. Payless says Mylan is no longer making this generic Sinemet cr 25/100 tab. I cannot use Sun manufacturing company. I need help. I take 1 purple pill that has 88 on one side and Mylan on the other every 3 hours. I am 83 with advanced Parkinson's. ## Have you spoken to your doctor about the problem? If so, what have they advised? I see that the brand name of the time released formulation has been discontinued, but there are several generic options available, including one manufactured by Alembic Pharmaceuticals that was approved in 2019. Why can't you take the one manufactured by Sun? The FDA lists the typical side effects of Sinemet as possibly including nausea, dizziness, confusion, hallucinations, depression, and strange dreams....

My dad just started Sinemet 1/2 pill of 25-100 once a day. I read from various websites that one of the side effects is Atrial Fibrillation from taking this medicine. I'd like to solicit your experience on the use of this drug, particularly related to possibility of causing Atrial Fib. What does his doctor think has caused it? The NIH does list it as possibly being caused by various medications, as well as various medical conditions, thus there is a chance there might be more at play here than the Sinemet....

My father (63), PD patient for around 20 years. We always had hard time adjusting a perfect dosage for him. # Right now he is in 8 sinemet (25/100) pills 4 hrs apart. One every dose he takes 1 regular and 1 CR Problem: the only good onstate he gets is after first dose. But in the afternoon most of the time the meda dont work Other: he takes ropinirole (.25) 3 times and Amantadine (100) 2 times Need help, 1. Can i increase hos dosage? 2.
