In order to get pain meds/narcotics/controlled substances, you must go to a licensed Pain Clinic. You have to sign a pain contract, take a U/A every two months and can only get your pain meds from your Pain Clinic. Family doctors, family medical practices and even Sports medicine Centers as well only prescribed Percocet for a very short period of time. I purchased 2 strips of LIMCEE manufactured by Abbott. The chewable tablets had a very bad taste. I have had limcee many times before. This is the first time I found the taste so bad, as if it was coated in diesel or something. I tried one tablet from each strip and both tasted weird. They were smelling weird too. I've been stabilized for three years after 20 years of therapy, interventional therapy, MRI;s and surgeries on my back, leaving me with piriformis spasms and back pain. On top, I had a cardiac arrest due to a medical error. I have to be careful of what I take due to this. I have looked high and low, either they are no longer taking pain patients or want to start injections all over again! I was prescribed sotalol 2 years ago for a-fib. After a couple days I noticed I was dizzy all the time. I would go down to my shop a find myself grabbing on to anything to keep from falling. With lathe, milling machine, tire machine. To fall into any of those and more with my head could be a serious medical problem. I wasn't having this dizzy problem before so I decided to quit the Sotalol and se if it was the culprit. It took a couple days but things got better and better yet as time wore on. After a couple of months I felt guilty about self medicating I started the Sotalol again, on second morning, I could barely stand up to get from bed to bath. I have been taking 120mgs methadone and 90mgs oxycodone per dium for20yrs....pain doctors come and go, but I'm here for the long haul.
