I am not sure if I am pregnant I had unprotected sex on the last day of my periods and took emkit 0.75 2 tablets 12 hours later. Then 10 days later I test my pregnancy it was negative but I still took cytotec 2 tab of 200g each then 12 hours later took 2 again, just got lose motion only. Am I pregnant. My periods are due jan 6 2014

What contraceptive can be used 4 an unprotected sex after abt a wk??? ## There isn't one. The emergency contraceptives that are available need to be used as soon as possible and none of them are effective after 5 days. They have the highest rates of effectiveness within 24 hours, then it slowly drops off as more time passes. Learn more emergency contraception details here. However, if it's been over 5 days, then the only thing you can do is wait and see if a pregnancy occurs, then deal with that accordingly. Just started taking Lo Loestrin a week ago and traveled across the world and alarm was set without remembering time zone so took pill 4 hours and 15 minutes late. I won't be having sex for another 8 days at least (since out of the country) and know to be careful for the first month since I just started. Two questions.
