hi, im 24 yrs old... me and my husband attended a family planning seminar and we taught about the calendar method.. the nurse told us to count 7 days from my first day of mens, she told us that it is safe , counting 12 days more from the 7th day of my mens it is unsafe and the remaining 19 days are safe... we followed her guide i have my period on april 24 and we make our love on may 13 the first day of safe period in the bracket of 19 days but unfortunately i dont have my period now i am expecting it in may 24 ... pls help me ## Hi Graciela, in the older days, most woman would use the calendar method. Hi , I m tassy , age 20 , I will be travelling on 2nd of January , my period is due on 1st of january , I have a long flight hence I would like to delay my period with the help of primolut n tablet , I already know that it is suggested to be taken 3 days before the due date , now all i want to know is will primolut N work to delay the period if I take it today , 2 days before my period date? ## There is no way to say, it may still work, or it may not. You may even be post-menopausal and your doctor can check for that with a blood test. But when taking hormonal contraceptives, it basically forces you to have your period, even if you're experiencing perimenopause or menopause.

I'm on Lo Loestrin Fe, where there are 24 "active" blue pills, 2 "active" white pills (that only contain estrogen) and 2 brown "nonactive" iron supplements. I know that with other pills you can skip or delay your period (if you have an event or something) by skipping the sugar pills and immediately beginning a new pack. But I'm not sure how to do this with Lo Loestrin Fe. Do I skip the two white pills AND the two brown pills or just the brown pills I want to be sure I get NO bleeding. I got primolut N over the counter but as it says I am supposed to use it 3 days before my periods and maximum for 14 days only. I had been advised to take deviry for five days at two tablets a day for delayed periods over 45 days... After only two tablets I started bleeding but bleeding was very minimal... it's my third day and bleeding has almost stopped... Kindly guide me.. as I'm worried.. ## Hello, Meghana! How are you?
