I have this medicine, it's an orange tablet/capsule with the inscription KALI on one side and the numbers 083 on the other. Is this a generic for Ultracet? ## Yes. You have the generic for Ultracet. can ultracet pills be cut in half ## Hello, Ruann! How are you? Unless your doctor or pharmacist specifically instructs you not to do so, it is safe to cut or break any tablets that aren't time released. There are some that may be coated and can't be broken, because they may cause a lot of stomach damage without the coating…and of course, if a medication is time released, cutting or breaking it could cause you to get too much of the medication at once, which may result in overdose. Is there anything else I can help with?

Dark pink tablets (one side has 083 on it the other KALI ) HAS ON BOTTLE Mfg: Par 49884-0946-01 ## No it should not cause thinning of the blood. APAP stands for Acetaminophen which does not work the same way as Aspirin or Ibuprofen, and it does not cause blood thinning. yellow oblong pill with 357 imprinted on it ## Sounds like Ultracet to me. It is a nonnarcotic pain reliever with acetametiphin in it. Dosage is one to two tablets. Anymore then two can be dangerous and don't even think about mixing it with alcohol unless you want permanant liver damage. IT won't make you high if that is what you are after. ## Did you mean the marking 537 on an oblong, yellow tablet? If so, the tablet is distributed by Amerisource Health Services, and they list it as containing 37.5mgs of Tramadol, and 325mgs of Acetaminophen.
