role of phlogam tablet in neurologicalsergery ## Each Phlogam tablet contains: trypsin 48 mg + bromelain 90 mg + rutoside trihydrate 100 mg. This combination is commonly used as a post operative supplement to help speed up the healing of wounds, pain and inflammation. It has additional uses as well, but in relation to surgery I would think that this would be it's primary role. I took a similar bromelain supplement after I had nose surgery a few years ago and the inflammation was significantly reduced after taking it for a couple weeks. It may provide other benefits as well, but I would suggest discussing the use of it with your surgeon in case he or she has other instructions or recommendations for a pre or post operative supplement. There's also already an active discussion thr...

My sister was taking this and I am looking for information about this drug. What are the uses and possible side effects? ## I would also like to know the side effects of somac please. ## Well, it makes you feel very gassy. ## Somac is an international brand for Pantoprazole - The US brand of this is called Protonix. According to the NIH (DailyMed) it inhibits stomach acid secretion and treats GERD in the short term. Possible risks may include a reduced immune system / infection because stomach acid plays a role in killing bacteria. Side effects reported less than 5% of the time include flatulence, diarrhea, headache, and abdominal pain. If I'm not mistaken the brand Somac exists in Australia (and possibly other countries). I hope this helps!

1)Are these medicines are similar in nature to work on lowering Cholesterol levels. 2) What are the side effects when we use these tablets/capsules 3) If so , Which of these has least side effect ## No medication is actually similar to nature, that's why they are classified as medications that require government regulation. The NIH lists the typical side effects of both as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and joint/muscle aches. It really depends on which one works for you. Which one has your doctor recommended?

Found these in my daughters purse, two of them in a baggie that shows a piece of paper made in china, cant be correct wrapper but looks sort of like a over sized tums and tastes sort of minty. I licked the back to see if it tasted medicine like or what I got, minty/tingly ## This is a generic antacid like Tums. I got a roll of these when i was at the airport and had heart burn. They are minty and they do work. ## My research leads me to believe that Guardian Drug Company may be the manufacturer of these pills [hence the letter 'G'], seeing as they make OTC mint flavored Tums, Rolaids and Mylanta tablets.
