My mother is a COPD patient for many years. She is under treatment for many years too. She is 84+. At present she has swelling on both her feet which is also painful. I took her to her Nephrologist who saw all her reports and said that all her reports are good and there is nothing wrong with her kidneys. Since her lungs are bad it is putting pressure on her heart which is also not functioning very well, hence d water retention n swelling. He has prescribed tablet "Q Shine" which he says is good for both heart and lungs. Want to know if there are any side effects? ## Have you taken your mother to a cardiologist? my mom is in a quack rehab place. they are giving her lasix for water retention and restricting her water to 1200 cc's per day and giving her sodium tabs 3 times a day. it sounds like some has their head where the sun doesn't shine. she never had edema in her entire life. she fell and broke a hip. and I think these people are going to kill her, out of stupidity, not maliciousness. help! ## Have you spoken to her doctor(s) about your concerns? AND IT ALSO HAS SMALL, BARELY CAN SEE RED SPECS ALL AROUND THE WHOLE PILL ## With no markings, it may be difficult to narrow down what this tablet contains. Shiney white, small pill, 104 on one side and M on the other side ## This tablet is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 10mgs of Memantine. It is most commonly used to treat the symptoms of Alzheimer's. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, blurred vision, agitation and chest pain. Found on friends floor. Size of pea. One side has GG on top and 40 underneath. Other side is plain. Known to take pain killers. Has shiney coating. ## Hello, Rosebud! How are you?
