I am taking oxetol 450 mg medicine 2 times a day. And because of this I am also suffering from headache regularly. Dear Sir, I am ananth . I am under anti depresent since 1 992 like Clofranil . Subsequently in 2004 one day i taken over dose Tini i.e Tinidozole for my GITI which by next morning just numbness in my face . for which i was presicrbed tegretol and later to oxetol 300 . since 2005 i am under oxetol 300 per day in night . i am sufferring regularly from various side effects like GITI , Upperespiratory Track infection , improper Bowl movement fatigue , dizzizness etc.. i am otherwise had never any epilepsy attck till date. Doctor advised me to stop it on tappering basis . But some how i am unable to do so as i feel restless when i stop it next day. and uncomforatble in stomach . Offcourse i know its due to addiction. But i am scared please advise further.

Have you consulted your doctor and dentist? ## I was just getting up at knight and roaming in the house. Because of this problem I went to doctor. He found nothing in the xray. Then he started giving tablets. When I started taking I feel sleepy the whole day and night. If I stop it I get fits the next day only. Before it was happening sometimes. I was a alcoholic & drug addict from 1980 to 1991. medication was started in 1985 . I was put on tegretol 600 & risnia 10 . Later it was changed to respond 10 &oxetol 600 . other tablets betacab 20 & parking. Before it was morning & night dosages going as high as oxetol 900 . Now i take all tablets at night. Side effects are reduced but have them. I have been a teetotaler from 1991 to this day but medication has not stopped. Please advice ## I am from India, Karnataka state, Mangalore city. I am 72 years old and has been prescribed oxetol-150 by a neurologist recently. I would like to know the side-effects of taking oxetol-150. Below is my case history - I'm feeling shivering around the area of heart for the last 6-8 weeks which spreads to the upper part of body and limbs and continues for 90 minutes to 150 minutes. This phenomenon leads to thumping in chest, rapid exhalation and giddiness. If this symptom starts when I am asleep, I get awakened feeling very uneasy and I get up and sit on bed till it subsides. My son (aged 13 years) has some behavioural problems.Consulted various doctors and diagnosis range from mild autism, ADHD, Asperger syndrome etc,, at present , he has been prescribed 7 tablets by a psychiatrst one of them being Prodep 20. other incude seranace,oxetol,pacitane,espazine,admenta.. can somebody guide about usefulness of prodep in particular and other drugs in general as also possible long term side effects ## for mild autism medicine do not help only one to one therapy would help, we have also tried medicines for our son for autism and ADHD... PLS DO NOT TAKE MEDICINES ..
