Tab Medrol

I just took my last two pills of day one of this medrol pack. My doctor prescribed it for the inflammation in my throat. I felt good all day but after taking these last two this evening, I'm feeling some chest tightness. Is this normal? Also, how long for these pills to wear off so I can sleep? ## This is a normal side effect of this medication, according to NIH studies, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, acne, and fluid retention. How severe is the tightness? Such side effects usually linger for a week, or so, after you finish the course of treatment. However, given the chest tightness, it would be best to consult your doctor to be safe.

I was prescribed: medrol dose pak VICODIN 5/500 and Motrin 800 mg tablets recently for a kidney stone by an emergency Dr in SFCA. Fifteen days later I rushed to the same emergency room feeling svere pain in my stomach. Upon arrival my blood pressure checked at 85/62. I was immediately admitted to the IC unit where a stomach specialist and a staff doctor found that I was bleeding internally. Neither of these two doctors could locate the source of the bleeding. I was prescribed Medrol by a pulmonologist today. Instead of a dose pack I was prescribed 20 loose 4 mg tablets. The instructions say to take 4 tablets daily for 5 days. Can this be right?? In the past I've always been prescribed dose packs that decrease the dosage daily? Please advise. ## Hello, Kenzen! How are you? I am a 35 year old man. I desperately need some advice. Hopefully from someone who's been through this. I have a CAT scan tomorrow and I had an allergic reaction to contrast iodine. One side of my face became swollen. I told my doctor and they prescribed Medrol(the generic) for me to take to prepare my body from having an allergic reaction. I'm supposed to take 8 tablets(4mg each) 12 hours and then another 8 two hours before injection. I'm really terrified of taking so many and the side effects it might have on my body. I'm aware of the side effects, but to take such a heavy does scares me. The pharmacist, nurse and doctor tell me that it's a standard dosage for what I need and that It might be rough on my stomach and get me wired/jittery for a couple of days. The &#...

found in a student's purse. It is 1/2 of a pink u-shped tablet. only thing left is the letter L and the number 8 these appear to be the end of the imprint. No markings on other side of tablet ## a pink tablet which has been broken in 1/2. has the letter L and the number 8 just below the L. no imprint seen on reverse side of tablet. ## A possible match is a tablet meeting this descrption with the marking MEDROL 8, it also meets the U shape that you mentioned. It contains 8mgs of the steroid Methylprednisolone. It is used to treat pain and swelling. Is there anything else I can help you with?

After the 8 days medrol, i am suppose to start using seretide inhalation 2 x a day. is this alright that i am taking all these pills each day? thank you for the information.

Due to acute, severe Osteoarthritic shoulder pain, an Emergency Room physician prescribed one, 10mg/21 tablet medrol dose pak, of Prednisone (Prednisone is written in big bold black letters, on the yellow box), to be taken over a six day period, in equally divided doses, one less tablet each day: 6-5-4-3-2-1), along with a sling and NO X-Rays. I filled the prescription on Tuesday and started taking it, but by around 6pm on Tuesday, my shoulder was even worse! Having heard the news that another local hospital was better, I went to the alternate and "that" hospital ER physician (an M.D. this time, as opposed to a P.A., on Monday), gave me a much better sling, a swathe, as well, a "complete* series of shoulder X-Rays, and yet another prescription for the "identical" box...
