I have taken tg torF for about 40 days and my lipid profile shows colestrol 136, trygleseride 139 HDL 42, LDL 66. Please tell me should I take now tg tor only to control my lipid profile. ## What has your doctor advised? TG-Tor-F contains Atorvastatin and Fenofibrate, it is used to help lower cholesterol levels. You should discuss it with your doctor, because your HDL is still a little low, which puts you at risk for heart disease, so they may want you to continue the medication.

I was previously diagnosed with anxiety and depression, after many years of antidepressant mess I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. They started me on 50mcg it was good for a year then had to be increased to 100mcg and I feel loads better, no more anxiety attacks and my mood is a lot better. If I miss my med doses I can tell I become moody. I have slowly lost weight over the years I have been on it. I'd say about 50lbs. But I also eat healthier and exercise more, before I couldn't do it much due to lack of energy. Constantly tired sleeping all day and had stomach pain a lot. Before my doctor said my body was functioning to 20-30% what it should be functioning. So that makes a huge difference. Also I have borderline high blood pressure so I am on a sodium restricted diet. And al...

Hello. I am going to my 1st appointment to a Dr. That prescribes Suboxone to try to get my life under control. I have been taking just about any pain killer pill I can get my hands on for about 6 or 7 years now, mostly hydros, roxis and oxys. Last night I took 3 10mg hydros over a 4 hour period from 8-midnight. This morning I took 1 10mg hydro just to be able to get up and go to work for a few hours before my appointment. My question is how will the doctor react when I tell him? I took them last night because it had been almost 24 hours and I was w/d bad and was trying to take care of my newborn son. Will I still get help? I have been trying for awhile to get help and I am scared I have ruined my chance. If I could get any help with this it would be much appreciated. ## He expects you t...

My dr prescribed 120 10 mg norcos for my back pain. Instruction say take 1 every 4 to 6 hours. Most of the time I take one every 6 hours. Sometimes I have to take 1 every 4 hours for a couple or few days. This causes me to be short before my next refill. I also take tramedol so that holds me over till I wait a few days for my norco. Today my dr got mad and discharged me from her care. Im confused. She said I was not taking them correctly. I will be out now of both meds before I can get into a new dr. ## Hello, Laurie! How are you? Did you run out a few months in a row? If so, that could be why, repeatedly running short is something that doctors often consider a sign of someone abusing such medications. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may ca...

Hi. My boyfriend suffers from hayfever and I'd like to find out where I can get a hold of Texa 10 Mg in Pretoria, South Africa? Is a prescription needed from our local doctor? ## To be honest, I don't know what is available there or if it requires a prescription, such information for countries outside of the U.S. and Canada is difficult to find. However, I can tell you that Texa contains the active ingredient Cetirizine, which is an antihistamine. So, what I would suggest is talking to a local pharmacist/chemist and asking them about it or about purchasing another medication that contains the same active ingredient. Are there any other questions? ## It is a miracle tab for me, I live in Durban, and suffer from hayfever. I've been taking this tab for the last 6 months, everyd...

Have you been eating differently, or not exercising as much? ## Hi, I have also been taking Texa for the past 4 months and I have also put on about 5 kilo's, so I think it must have something to do with the ingredients in the pill itself as I have not been eating any more than usual. ## I've stopped taking Texa a about 2 months ago. I have a friend who has been taking anywhere from 4-6 Norco 10 325mg a day at times she can't sleep due to her pain that gets so excruciating. She takes10-12 in 24hr. for chronic pain, an has been taking them for the last 10yrs. Today I watched her take 7 of them at once, she was in severe pain. Should I be concerned that she may have over dosed herself? Or will she be fine if I go home for the night? ## That is far too many for her to be taking, at once. It is very dangerous to exceed over 1.000mgs of Acetaminophen in any 8 hour period, and no one should take more than 3,000mgs in any 24 hour period, according to FDA directives. Taking too much, at once, could result in liver damage, liver failure, and acetaminophen toxicity, that requires medical treatment. How is your friend doin...

I have been diagnosed with Lichen Planus (skin disease). I also have high blood pressure for which I have been taking Amlong 10mg in the morning and Telma 20mg post dinner for the last 7 years. Recently, my doctor has told me to take an alternative medicine to Amlong 10mg since this medicine has side effects that include skin rashes, etc. Please advise whether it's ok to have Stamlo 10mg as a substitute? ## They both contain the same active ingredient, so it isn't likely that switching will change the side effects that you are experiencing. I use this 10 mg (TEVA 74) generic Ambien. Empty bottle, but 2 in pill box so I verified ID. I always cut it because 5 mg almost always does the sleepy job.
