sz 790
yellow, round shaped tablet with SZ imprinted on 1 side and 790 on the other ## The pill which you are describing has been identified as Methylphenidate 20 mg, a generic form of Ritalin. Related Thread: <a href= Do you have any other questions or information to add? Please post back if you do... ## Been taking this generic brand of Ritalin for several years and wondering why it stopped having any or little effect on my ADD and also why it left my system so quickly (almost immediately). Thought it was a built-up tolerance. Recently discovered (by paying more than double price for the brand-name Ritalin) that this generic drug is far different from the brand-name one. The difference is acute and worth investigation. ...

790 Sz
I was taking Methylin 20MG twice daily. My new script was filled at CVS, and it is Methylphenidate SZ 790, BUT it says TAKE 6 TABLETS BY MOUTH EVERY DAY. This has to be a mistake??? ## Have you contacted your doctor or pharmacy? I am thinking someone might have misread the prescription or made a typo. The pills marked SZ 790 are 20mg Methylphenidate time released tablets and that would be a major and dangerous dosage jump. In addition, the maximum daily dose should only be 60mgs and taking 6 in day would be doubling that. I can't see any doctor prescribing that amount. ## Verwon, thank you for your reply. Your link was very comprehensive and enlightening. I found the 20MG dose intolerable, so I cut the tabs in half and took 10MG's twice a day. I did take the prescription back to... ...

sz 790 sr 20 mg
This pill is nasty. It is described as SR by the manufacturer (slow or sustained release). I have been taking Millen 4 x 20 per day with no problems. Was this pill dispensed as a mistake by the pharmacy or by the doctor. I took less than two and didn't get a wink of sleep. Markings are Sandoz peach, scored, 790, SZ or ZS. The bottle says SR. It has taken me so long to get to get to the combination of pills I am at that if I rock the boat, I am scared that the whole research of a group of safe pills will be in jeopardy. I can cut back on the Sandoz without a problem, no odd effects as described on the net, ## Just discovered that I have been wasting years -- and tasks undone -- by taking generic Ritalin manufactured by Sandoz (not time release). Hasn't done anything for me and my... ...

Ritalin, methylphenidate,manufacturers
I take 20 mg of methylphenidate twice a day I have two kinds of pills I believe from two different manufacturers one is yellow withSZ 790 and the other is pink with R/33. I want to be sure they are the same medication (Ritalin) because I may have mixed them with another medication. I take (seldom, but keep with me as I travel) clonazepam .05 mg-generic for Klonopin) that is the same color. Can anyone advise or should I take them to the Pharmacy to confirm? ## Hello, TW!
