My adult daughter is displaying increased agitation and anger since she is on Vyvance. She has been off it for 2 or 3 days and is feeling horrible. I do not think she ever had ADD or ADHD when the doc prescribed the med. I feel she has been displaying symptoms of ADHD - confusion, irritation, hyperactivity, impulsiveness, etc, since being on the Vyvance. Has anyone had similar experiences?? ## Vyvanse contains the active ingredient Lisdexamfetamine, so it is a stimulant, commonly used to treat ADHD and Narcolepsy. However, these can be side effect for some people, even if they do have ADHD. It can cause: insomnia, irritabillity, agression and nervousness. There are non-stimulant options available that may be better for her. Has she spoken to her doctor about these issues? You can read m...

How long does it take to get off urbanol completely without withdrawal symptoms? When will my body be over the withdrawal symptoms? I stopped 3 days ago and I am experiencing a buzzing headache and irritability, where I feel as if I am getting a seizure! ## Hello Johanna, According to the NIH the half life cycle for adults is between 36 and 42 hours. In addition there is also a metabolite left behind that has a half-life of up to 82 hours. Your withdrawal timeline is going to be unique but the generally accepted timeline is that acute withdrawals last for 3-6 days in the beginning and then the symptoms will seem to get better suddenly. Then towards the end of the withdrawals you will experience another spike of acute withdrawals for another 3-6 days. the middle of these spikes can be an...

blue says cor 132 ## COr 132 is a prescription amphetamine, a generic version of Adderall. It it used to treat ADD in children and adults. You will be able to find all of the side effects, symptoms and conditions for prescription by searching Wikipedia for Adderall. ## Mike's id is correct. Here's the link to our Adderall monograph: This medication is unavailable in the U.S. and I am sorry to say that other countries do not regulate their prescription drugs as strictly as the FDA does. That said, finding information on them is very difficult, since there are no databases which list them all, like there are for U.S. prescription drugs. The only thing I can suggest is that you try asking your doctor or pharmacist for more information. ## This drug is now available in the United St...

Does anyone have experience of being treated with Dilantin for anxiety/depression/ADHD symptoms ? If so, could you advise me on dosage - Thanks ## Hope things have gotten better since you posted this. I have depression and anxiety as was adult ADD. I take patil. 10mg of Ativan as needed for the anxiety and to help me sleep when I can't calm my mind, and also Ritalin 10mg 2 times a day. The Ritalin being added really made a difference. I am not wanting to stay in bed. It has helped with my productivity and has helped me focus at work. I know this will not work for everyone but it sure did for me. ## I have taken Dilantin since I was 9 months old, then all kinds of drugs. Does anyone else have feedback after 10 years of Dilantin?

I have been on Vyvanse now for about a week and a half. I am only taking 30 mg and was diagnosed with Adult ADD. I am not sure if this is usual but I am feeling very sleepy. I see that a lot of people post that they can not sleep, well for me that is not the case. I feel like I am half awake through the morning and the afternoon. The medication seems to wear of in the late afternoon because I slowly start to feel more alert, my apatite comes back, and so does the symptoms of ADD. I have been getting headaches at night. When I am on the Vyvanse, I do feel calmer and able to deal with things better. It has helped with my anxiety which I believe was cause by being unorganized, late, and all over the place before. I like that about this medication but wonder if it's the wrong one for me...
