I've been on lomedia since feb. Haven't been able to lose the 12 lbs I gained since starting it ( mind you I work out 4-5 days a week) I get about 4-5 headaches a week, I get nauseous all the time and sometimes morning sickness bc I take it at night. I've been extremely lethargic and all I want to do is sleep. I barely get my period. I'm switching to lo loestrin. This pill does not work for me.... it also keep you bloated most of the time. ## Hello, CC! How are you feeling? I'm sorry about the problems you had. Unfortunately, medications can be like that. What works well for someone else may not work well for you and vice-versa. Have you started the other one, yet? If so, how is it working for you?

I was on 5 30mg oxycodone a day and they weren't effective anymore being id been on them for a while. My doctor switched me to 15mg morphine ir 4xs a day if oxycodone is stronger why would this happen he said the morphine is stronger ## Hello, Sheppy! How is the Morphine working for you? And Oxycodone is stronger than Morphine by one and a half times, so you'd actually need 45mgs of Morphine to equal each 30mgs you were taking of the Oxycodone. You can look it up in an equivalency chart. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I am currently prescribed diluadid 8mg tablet but want to switch to suboxone for opoid dependence. When I am prescribed suboxone can I start taking them right away or will there be a reaction with the diluadid still in my system? Please help, keep getting different answers! ## I'm curious about this to I take suboxone & wanna konw if I can take diluadid... ## Can you give a little history? How long have you been taking the it? are you taking more than just 8 mg? ## Yes, you have to be in full withdrawal, before you can take Suboxone, or it may throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals. The FDA classifies it as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness,...

I am using the Epitec 100mg. I have trouble falling asleep. It is if my brain doesn't want to switch off. Can it be the Epitec that is causing this problem. ## I've been using Epitec for the last 2 years. I drink 3 tablets of 100mg in the mornings. In the evenings I am yawning that tears come out of my eyes and I am tired. But I can't fall asleep. It's like I said before. My brain doesn't want to go to sleep, doesn't want to switch off. The only way I go to sleep is when I drink a sleeping tablet. I read on the paper inside the Epitec's box that it can cause tiredness, drowsiness and insomnia, which does not make sense. I want to know if the tablets can be the cause that I can't fall asleep. Even during the day if I try to take a nap, my brain doesn't...

Hi guys I've been on 30 mg of lexapro and the side effects of fatigue and tiredness have not gone away after 4 years. I just kinda dealt with it but now I wanna switch medicine. My dr offered me Zoloft or pristiq. I have social anxiety and OCD and GAD. Any suggestions would be helpful or if you switched to another medicine and it helped. Thanks and God Bless ## Hello, John! How are you? I've taken Zoloft before and found it to work quite well, though it can cause drowsiness, as a side effect, I found that to only last a short period of time. The worst issue that I've known most people to have with it is weight gain. The FDA lists other possible side effects as including nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. Can anyone that's on Pristiq chime in? ## John, I have trie...

my mom was taking qualitest generic percocet for severe leg pain. recent script from cvs was labeled mallinkot . she became very nauseated with loss of appetite and a rash with large blotches and itching over face and body after taking the percocet over several days with no pain relief.. I knew the actavis brand is no good but did not put things together as her bottle said differently. Her face was swollen and eye swollen shut and red . she did not think the only new thing she was taking was her percocet. I looked at the bottle again and the description did not match the pill. I immediately went to cvs and they labeled it wrong. she was given actavis instead!!! It took 2 days of phone calls and benadryl for the severe reaction to get a new script, but not until i brought her to the md offi

Hello. I was recently diagnosed with ADD and prescribed the generic form of adderall XR 20 mg. It works in very short spurts of time and I feel as if I have no control over the medication when I need to come down. I cannot keep staying up until 3 in the morning with 2 babies to take care of. I've read online that the instant release works better for people like me in terms of control. Should I switch? And how should I go about asking my doctor?? ## I'm very sorry about the insomnia, I know how horrible that is, when you have little ones to care for and spoil. How long have you been taking it? It usually takes about 4 weeks, or so, for your body to adjust to a new medication and for the side effects to wear off, so you should gradually start sleeping better. The FDA classifies th...

SO CAN ANYONE ANSWER as to why I'm finding them much less effective than the blue 10mg Ritalin in aiding my symptoms?

Does anyone no what pill is better or are they the same? Today my pharmacy gave me the orange 54-375 but i was taking a white pill with 155 on it the orange one is a little smaller. And just dont seem like it would work as good i think Roxanne is the maker can any one help me? I switched pharmacy to save money 20 bucks less for 60 not sure if this is good also these came 60 loose were the white ones are individually wraped thanks jim ## The size of the pill is not relevant, that really just depends on what inactive ingredients they decided to use in it. However, the dosages are the same, it is listed by Roxane as containing 8mgs of Buprenorphine, and 2mgs of Naloxone (base). The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizzine...

Im switching from Saboxone to this Suvutex I wanted information ## Those two drugs are similar, both have Buprenorphine as an active chemical. The difference is that Suboxone contains buprenorphine hydrochloride and naloxone hydrochloride, whereas Subutex just has the buprenorphine hydrochloride. Both are used to treat opioid dependence and help with withdrawals. The following text was taken from an article on the FDA: 1. What are Suboxone and Subutex? Subutex and Suboxone are medications approved for the treatment of opiate dependence. Both medicines contain the active ingredient, buprenorphine hydrochloride, which works to reduce the symptoms of opiate dependence. 2. Why did the FDA approve two medications? Subutex contains only buprenorphine hydrochloride. This formulation was develo...

I had a mild Heart attack in 1998. After conducting Engiography , a team of Doctors decided for oral medicines . Still now I am taking the following madicines. 1. Cardace 2.5mg, 2.Metolar 50 Mg, 3. Clopilet 75mg and 4. Pansa 40. I had no cardiac or Hypertensive symtems after that. Later I became Diabetic since 2009 and I am taking Pioglit MF 15 since then. now I had pain on my legs mostly below the knees while walking. After walking for a few yards , I am forced to stop for a while. Then after a minute I am able to walk again and so. One of my Doctors(in my relation) suggested to take Nurobion Forte tabs. Is that ok or not? I am taking only 1 tab per day(since this week). Should I continue it, increase the dose or switch over to some other madicine? ...K.Ranjit 61 years old ## Neurobion...

I just recently switched from 70 mg of methadone to suboxone. The Dr told me to wait 3 days. The clinic insisted that I waited to go down to 30 mg before switching to subutex so it scared the crap out of me. So on the third day I took a 1 mg strip of sub and it put me into total withdrawal. It was horrible, I couldn't understand why he didn't prescribe me subutex so it didn't have the opiate blocker. Anyway I got thru the night and woke up and just took 4 mgs and felt a little better then on day 5. I went to see my Dr to explain what's going on and asked why he didn't give me subutex instead of suboxone. He said it doesn't make a difference in this instance. So I guess he knows better than I do. It's Saturday and I'm feeling better but I'm still not f...

I want to stop taking ms connin can I start .taking my dilualid ## You can make the switch, if your doctor approves, but if the doses are not comparable, you may experience some withdrawal effects. The FDA lists them as possibly including nausea, dizziness, fever, chills, rebound pain, depression and diarrhea. What is the dose of each? Are you having a problem with the MS Contin?

As my title says I've switched from celexa to fluoxetine 60 mg. I know the 60 mg is too high. Was just trying to get leveled out and then was coming down. My question is I've been taking the dose of 60mg fluoxetine for 11 days now per my cross taper schedule. Can I lower to 40 mg. now during the transferring phase and if so how do I go about it? Just stop taking one of the 20 mg tablets? I was always on 40 mg or lower (20mg) of the celexa but after a life threatening traumatic accident never got back down after 5 surgerys. Doc wanted me to switch over to the higher amount but feel I've always done better in a lower amount. ## Whoops title should've said switched from 60mg celexa to 60 mg fluoxetine. ## Actually, the 60mgs of Fluoxetine might be too low, going from 60mgs ...

Does this medicine also increase uric acid? Is it a cause of joint pain and weakness? ## Telmikind-H contains Telmisartan and Hydrochlorothiazide, it is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions.
