my mom was taking qualitest generic percocet for severe leg pain. recent script from cvs was labeled mallinkot . she became very nauseated with loss of appetite and a rash with large blotches and itching over face and body after taking the percocet over several days with no pain relief.. I knew the actavis brand is no good but did not put things together as her bottle said differently. Her face was swollen and eye swollen shut and red . she did not think the only new thing she was taking was her percocet. I looked at the bottle again and the description did not match the pill. I immediately went to cvs and they labeled it wrong. she was given actavis instead!!! It took 2 days of phone calls and benadryl for the severe reaction to get a new script, but not until i brought her to the md offi

I did not want to switch my pharmacist literally gave me the generic without informing me! It wasn't until I got home later that day that I realized that it was different. I called and complained and 1st I got the excuse that the pharmacy hadn't been receiving any and then eventual I was told that maybe my insurance didn't cover it ( this is a cvs pharmacy tech guessing). Long story short I've been on mibelas for 2 months and hate it. I've been getting acne- annoying but I can get over that. Random itchy skin specifically my ankles, feet, random areas of the body itch ( I do not suffer from allergies. Extra moody/ emotional. The worst part currently is the migraines- I can not deal with this.my headaches are killing me- I can barely move my head or let out a cough witho

I am taking 120 mg Diltiazem CD 24 hour. Just switched from CVS Pharmacy to Optum mail order. The new pills are clearly from a different manufacturer because they’re a different color. Is that big a deal when you switch manufacturers? ## No, you should be fine. The FDA warns that Diltiazem may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, increased urination, and hypotension. Ref: Diltiazem Information Is there anything else I can help with?

I've had it with the generic Adderall CVS brand Actavis. I used to take the brand name and had no issues. Switched insurance and can take the brand again after 5 years. If the doctor changes dose will the pharmacy fill it a week early? Im changing from generic to brand. ## If it is a time released formulation, they usually will fill early if the dosage is changed. However, if it is the regular release/instant formulation, they will usually have you cut, or break your existing supply, then fill it for you, once you've exhausted what you currently have left. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this antibiotic as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea. I also experienced a bad reaction to Moxifloxacin a few months ago and was told not to take, again. Is there anything else I can help with?

I was so shocked to recieve 3 packs of Enakyce. Its from India and distributed in US. I bet it must be so cheap that CVS prefer to carry it. Drug form India, no way I would take it. I am so mad now and see if I can do anything to get my Apri back. For God sake. What is wrong with the med aystem here. Why they can make yhe decision of what brand I take without my permission?! ## Hello, Tiny tiny! How are you? Under current prescription drug laws, to help keep prices as low as possible for those that don't have prescription drug coverage, the pharmacy is required to provide you with the cheapest generic they have available, unless your doctor states that you must have the name brand, or you're paying cash and request the name brand. As to taking it, regardless of where they're...

I, too, had to switch to CVS Jan. 1, 2014, because I now have Obamacare, Value Silver Plan & in the place I live, basically one huge Insurance Co....the only one available. I live in a red state. Walgreens, who I used for a decade, did not sign a contract with ins. Co. For the Value Silver Plan. Everyone on this plan had to switch to CVS because this is what our ins. co. told us to do! I have thought, maybe, CVS, knowing full well, it was going to get slammed with new pharmacy customers come Jan 1st & in cohoots with the giant ins. co., saw a way to make more money by buying & selling cheap & substandard "value" medicine for the people who are on this plan! What are your thoughts on this? I, too, have to take A333, along with another pain medicine (long lasting) ...

Pharmacy says it won't work on the free trial. What can I do? It's 125.00 for 14 days ## Can you try another pharmacy or another CVS store ? ## What pharmacy does the free trial, or is their away to get a coupon. I may have to switch to another pill that's not extremely high ## Aj, you have to get a coupon from the manufacturer. Pharmacys don't just give the meds to you without a script and a coupon from the manufacturer. Who told you that there was a Free Trial for this med? Some manufacturers have criteria that you must also meet, like you must prove that you are low income and have no insurance that will cover it.

Wife had prescription for Percocet which was substituted by CVS with a small white oblong pill with A 333 on one side and no identification and no "line" for breaking in two on the other side, but identified on bottle and circular as "10-325". After root canal, pill has been relatively ineffective only overriding pain for about an hour and caused nausea and vomiting when second pill taken 4 very long hours later. After a day of suffering, switched to hydrocodone 7.5-300 at 10am when ineffectiveness of 6am oxycodone 10-325 on second day had wife in tears again. Potency of year old hydrocodone 7.5-300 superior to new oxycodone 10-325. Lack of a line for splitting in two a curious omission since there is a 5-325 dosage available. Question potency and effectiveness of new A ...

I just switched to CVS from Walgreens as of Monday 8/23/17. I was getting the Oblong Shaped White pills from Walgreens but today I picked up round shaped small white pills from CVS. I of course did some research and came across this forum and I'm nervous. I literally just swallowed my 1st one. I'll post my results soon. ## There shouldn't be anything to worry about, they are likely just made by a different manufacturer. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, and headache. What are the markings on them? If you can post back with this information, I will gladly research them for you.

Hi, I just switched to CVS and my Citalopram smells funny. I didn't like it from the start and now I am getting headaches. May I ask, is it Gluten free? It is a white oval pill with A on one side and 07 on the other. Please help... ## Hello, Linda! How are you? Many medications do have a funny smell, but some manufacturers use a coating to prevent people from smelling it. As to the gluten, Aurobindo does use corn starch in this tablet, so there is a chance that it may be contaminated with gluten, if the plant the processed the corn starch also does wheat products. Does gluten usually give you headaches? Citalopram is classified by the FDA as an SSRI antidepressant and they lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, mood swings, weight changes a...

I switched from CVS Mylan as they were not effective. I found a local pharmacy that dispenses Greenstone. The first time I had my script filled they were excellent. But now, they aren't even touching me. I don't understand it. Someone gave me a .5 alprazolam and that worked! I don't know who makes it. I feel crazy because everyone says Greenstone is best. I called the pharma company and told them. I am sending them in my pills for quality control. I only take as directed. So, I feel they should work. I even wanted to go to .5 and not .1 because I never want to become immune. Is it just me. Why would the .5 work so well on me andnot .1 of greenstone. I feel like I'm crazy or something. Which I probably am, but that has nothing to do with this situation. Post Script. I tap...

I too used to take the Watson Marked ones, but CVS switched to these and I find these VERY VERY effective. I think that the reason some people don't like them is there body is used to the other and a lot of it maybe "brain" issues. Your brain is used to taking "Watson's" and when you change your brain is saying Ol no something different it won't work, helpppp... But rest assured your body WILL get used to them and start to work, it just takes time. Thanks, Jeremy ## When you switch brand names or manufacturers the drug itself doesn't necessarily change, but rather the binders or fillers that they put with it. For this very reason, I believe the differences and side effects people feel have a lot to do with certain "inactive" ingredients that may o...

I too was recently switched to generic A333 made by Pharma due to shortages. I have experienced upset stomach, indigestion, indigestion, etc...likewise, my pharmacy was CVS. I am NOT getting as much pain relief either & the pain comes back in less than 2 hrs, where as others can last up to 6. Where can I file a complaint? THANKS ## The only place I think it would make sense to file a complaint like this with, would be to contact the manufacturer who makes those specific tablets and let them know what's going on. Maybe if enough people file complaints with them directly, they would start to take a hint.
