CIPCAL-500 is a product containing Calcium and Vitamin D.What are the benefits and disadvantages of taking one tablet daily for one month? ## Vitamin D promotes calcium absorption in the gut and maintains adequate serum calcium and phosphate concentrations to enable normal mineralization of bone and to prevent hypocalcemic tetany. Without sufficient vitamin D, bones can become thin, brittle, or misshapen. Vitamin D sufficiency prevents rickets in children and osteomalacia in adults. Together with calcium, vitamin D also helps protect older adults from osteoporosis. The only reason to supplement calcium and vitamin D in my opinion, is if you're not getting at least 30min to an hour of sunlight each and everyday. Also if your not getting enough calcium in your diet then having it with...

When Shellcal 250 is advised by doctors? ## Shelcal 250 is a product of India; so firstly, it would only be prescribed if you live in India or some other places outside of the U.S. It is simply a Calcium with Vitamin D Tablet (250 mg). Both Calcium and Vitamin D are essential to your health and proper bone strength and density. I would imagine that one would need to be severely deficient in either of these nutrients in order to get this prescribed. On separate note, I didn't know one needed a prescription for vitamins? I'm guessing that these tablets are one of a few exceptions. Anyhow if one is getting plenty of sunlight and getting calcium from whole foods then they shouldn't need to supplement with this unless they have severe malabsorption in which their body won't a...

I have been on norco 10/325 4x a day since I was 20. After I had my first baby my back has been downhill. With car accidents a couple of falls and I'm a dental assistan so imagine the constant movement of that area. Omgeez!! My ? Is if anyone knows of any pm doctors that won't make me feel bad about being in constant pain. I have a great neurologist but I'm moving and won't have much time to travel. Thx all :) stay sunny and out of pain. ## Have you tried asking your neurologist to refer you to someone? That could be your best bet for finding one that will understand your condition and not be uptight and worried about your requiring pain medications. Otherwise, you'll likely get more responses if you can post back with your general location. California is pretty big....

I have celiac disease and I just refilled a prescription for Oxycodone 5mg Tabs. My pharmacy switched manufacturers from QLT to SUN Pharmaceuticals (the site says the generic is made by Caraco Pharmaceutical. I took one and 3 hours later I'm having gluten-like pain. The Sun-Caraco site lists the inactive ingredients as: anhydrous lactose, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, and sodium starch glycolate. Does anybody know if the pregelatinized starch, and sodium starch glycolate they use has gluten in it-- (wheat based rather than corn, or potato based)? ## Sun Pharmaceutical Oxycodone Tab 5mg does contain trace amounts of gluten measured at 100 parts per million. I called Curaco pharmaceutical--who makes Oxycocone 5mg Tabs...

Where can I purchase sunroot tablets? ## Hi, Pat! How are you? I know these are very popular right now, which is pretty typical with diet fads, but that's really all they are, just a fad and nothing more. They contain an extract from Jerusalem artichokes and it isn't actually proven to help with anything. If you want to lose weight, you should consult your doctor and do so in a safe, healthy manner by eating a proper diet that is low in calories and fats, plus get lots of exercise. Are there any other questions or concerns? ## Wrong, they are far from being a Fad Diet, nothing to do with dieting. They are a very good capsule for many ailments and have a proven track record. Get your facts right. ## Can you get sunroot capsules in Australia?

I have a recipe for a weight-loss sunday and it calls for Matcha green tea powder. I couldn't find that so was wondering if I rip a green tea bag open if it will be comparable? thanks ## I doubt it's really going to work the same. From what I can tell, the Matcha is just a brand name, so you should be able to just use any green tea powder, in place of it, in the recipe. Are there any other suggestions?

My husband has a 100 degree temp. can we take tylenol w/this drug. It is Sun. cannot call hotline or doc. ## Sutent contains the active ingredient Sunitinib, this is used to treat several forms of cancer and tumors. That said, I would not suggest mixing in other drugs, without first speakng to his doctor or pharmacist. This drug can cause some side effects, such as: nausea, diarrhea, anorexia and janudice. His doctor is going to want to make sure what is causing his temperature, before he treats it. It could be related to his medical condition or something entirely different. Is there anything else I can help you with?
