Just wondering if anyone knows the answer to this: I take Actiq for my migraines and works great most of the time but is really doing a number on my teeth. I've heard that the lozenge form of Fentanyl (Fentora) has no sugar in it at all, but a lot of people I've talked to say it's not as long lasting as the Actiq and their pain tends to re-occur quicker. Why can't they make the Actiq sugar free? ## I can't find any details on this, but my first guess is that it probably has to do with disguising the taste of the medication. However, if you do not take the prescribed medications, high blood sugar can be deadly, so there is far less risk to dealing with the possible side effects. I am 57 + having high blood sugar level for the past 18 months. I am regularly taking Voglistar gm1 for the past 16 months. I am a vegetarian. My blood sugar PP ranges between 200 - 360. I am not feeling any type of deficiency. I have recently found out that my sugar level in my blood is 170. Took a zpack streroids for plantars facia, 60 days ago. Began taking metFORMIN 40 days ago. Also have hypoglycemia (take levothyroxine 150mcg). Also have arthritis take sulfasalazine, plaquenal and mobic. I am male, 52 yrs old, 30 to 40 pds overweight. Is it possible the blood count is still high from taking the steroids? Should I expect it to go back to normal in any certain time? I am having sugar for last 23 years and so far it was within nice control.but from last feb2014 my sugar fasting is 170 and pp is always more than 210..last two months doctor prescrobed me higher dose of medicine ie tripride 2 morning and night and combiglyzed 5/500.before lunch.but such increased medication has no effect. In this context i would like to say that have thyroid (tsh 6.5) which causes sewelling on my feet of and on as told by different doctor.My present doctor did not pay any heed to this point. That would enable me to check the specific ingredients for you. However, you also should not be tasting your pill. If you're tasting it, then you're not taking it properly. The pill should be placed as far back on your tongue, as possible, short of choking on it and then immediately swallowed with water.

I have just come to know that my sugar levels are Fasting 187 & PP 324. After knowing I started light sugar free food and some light exercise. After four days my test shows that Fasting is 140 and PP 220. Still I am doing the same exercise and taking light sugar free food. I have not started and drug. Please advice me what I should do now. Doctor told me to take glim 1mg just after meal but I took after 4 hours once I checked my blood sugar level was 277 in the night at around 12 O'clock.
