I am in desperate need of finding a doctor who will prescribe subutex in wv. I cannot take suboxone for it makes me very depressed and suicidal. If anyone can help me please find someone that can help me. I cannot go to another treatment center bc I don't drive and I can only find rides for doctor appointments if its once or twice a month only. I am currently on subutex now but it costs way too much. I have been trying for two days to get my subutex filled and i either get "i need to be a pregnant woman" or "i have to have a wv id" but i have a pa id and live in wva... I am an addict and did control my addiction with suboxone. From the beginning it made me sick to my stomach I stayed swollen, and never had any gritty up and go about myself. Well I tried the subutex on my own and the stomach issues were gone the swelling subside and I have more energy and gumption to get out and enjoy life. I am very low income and rely on my family for transportation. If anyone can give me names of doctors that will prescribe me the subutex in or close to Beckley west virginia and/or in Logan west virginia and accepts Medicaid I would forever be thankful for your help. I've had back surgery and have degenerative disc disease that is already "severe" at 36yo. I'm miserable. My Dr just got in trouble so I went from 4 Roxy 20s and 2 opana 5s daily to 3 Roxy 15s daily. My partner was recently given an injection and three day prescription of Buprenorphine/Subutex for severe pain during an ER visit. She is a veteran and suffers from chronic pain and has been years in pain and has managed to suffer without pain medication. After she received the injection and prescription, she realized how comfortable and nice life can be without having to experience severe chronic pain constantly. The Subutex did relieve her pain a great deal. We did talk to the ER doctor whom prescribed the medication and he did not know of a local doctor that would continue her prescription if Subutex for pain management purposes. I am a resident of West Virginia and have Medicare with Symphonix Value Rx by UnitedHealthcare prescription coverage which DOES cover my Subutex prescription. I go to the doctor in PA, less than one mile across the WV state line. I am having problems finding a pharmacy in WV that will bill my insurance for the medication although they DO accept the insurance and had no problem whatsoever accepting it for a script written in WV. I know people in wv who go to pa to get scripts of subutex and sell them. They wont give up any info about the doctor they go too because they don't want anyone else in the area out selling them. Which I did go to a place in Washington where my appointment was but they wanted $392 for 56 of them I thought that was a little bit ridiculous. ## They should be willing to fill it, as long as it was written in PA, though in some cases, your being from out of state might be a problem, since it is a controlled substance. I am trying to recover fro, opiate addiction. I see a doctor in Pittsburgh PA Subutex or generic name buprenorphine but I live in WV I am not able to find a pharmacy that will fill my script.
