I'm looking for a doctor that prescribes subutex, I have a hard time with Suboxone, it gives me severe headaches and terrible nausea. ## Hello, Lola! How are you? Unfortunately, unless someone has a documented allergy to Naloxone, or is pregnant, the DEA has instructed them to only prescribe Suboxone. The FDA classifies it as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as dizziness, dry mouth and constipation, as well as those you've mentioned. How long did you try Suboxone? Side effects are usually transient and tend to go away with time, once your body gets used to the medication.

I heard there is a website you can go to if you're disabled on Medicaid and Medicare in Virginia with a list of doctor's who accept it for Subutex and I also was told just pick up the phone and call each one until you find one that is seeing new patients at this time. I've been on subutex for pain management for a while now.. My prescribed dose is 3 8mg a day but I only take 1 8mg a day now. June 1st of this year I lost my still born son at 8 months. We named him, held him, took pictures (which I can't bring myself to even look at yet) and have his hat/blanket in a bag (which I keep as a shrine and have yet to be able to open yet either) even had him baptized.. Ever since I have been SUFFERING with severe anxiety/panic attacks and PTSD with two small kids to care for everyday while my husband works until midnight. Every minute of every day I see a reel in my head on loop of all the events that took place that weekend.. On Top of it I have hyperthyroidism which they both the anxiety and hyperthyroidism feed off each other doubling my anxiety s...

Can any doctor prescribe Subutex? Or does it have to be a psychiatrist? I asked my family medicine doctor about it (which was over 5 years ago) and he never heard of it.
