I've been trying to find a subutex doctor. I used to take oxys, perk 30's and other opiates but then I started subutex. I now have a good job and want to keep it that way! But now any doctor I've called wants to prescribe suboxone first and it makes me sick. it gives me migraines (which I have chronic migraine syndrome so it must be a trigger) a rash and makes me sick to the stomach. Second I have no insurance and its just way too expensive from all the research I've done. My name is ryan. I live in Warner robins ga and I am desperate need of a doctor jn my area who will be willing to prescribe me buprenorphine without the naloxone in it. It's called subutex. I have been on Suboxone for a long time and I have no insurance and low income and i have two kids that I support. I know subutex is way cheaper than Suboxone and I need the cheapest I can get. Thank you ## Hello, Ryan! How are you? Unfortunately, the new directives from the DEA tell them not to do so, unless it's a woman who's pregnant, or someone with a verified allergy to Naloxone. Thus, most doctors are going to refuse the switch. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsine...

Hello i just found out i was having a baby i have bluecare insurance does anyone know a doc that prescribes subutex and takes my insurance and is in murfressboro tn please help ## I don't know how it is in TN, but judging by down here in GA, where I live and what I did when I found out I was pregnant and surprise surprise got laid off my job a week later. My best bet was to go get emergency Medicaid. And they would do anything to help you get off and stay off drugs, like they did for me. They paid for me to be in a private rehab center where they could monitor me and the baby and there were doctors and nurses there. So if suboxone makes withdrawal for and your child more bearable and safe, they'd probably have no problem with you having them since you'll be in a safe, clinic...

ON SUBOXONE?NOT ONE DOCTOR WHO WILL PERSCRIBE ME SUBUTEX? ## Hello, John! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. Is your allergy listed in your medical records? If not, that might be the problem. Suboxone is preferred, because it helps prevent the abuse of other medications, while someone is under treatment with it, as listed by the FDA. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I would like to create a thread to serve as a resource for those who need subutex instead of suboxone. If you are aware of ANY providers or physicians who will prescribe it: for those who are allergic to naloxone, or to those who do not have insurance - this information will benefit many addicts. So, let's share information and use this as a helpful resource. ## Hi my name is Shelley and I am currently on zubzolv and it does not help. I'll do you a favor and save you at least 1&1/2 days which ='s wasting 36 hours calling dozens of doctors trying and hoping to find just even a single one who will accept even any kind of insurance (let alone yours). Not even any or even a one doctor will accept any medical insurance for suboxone treatment/ prescription and if you do find that one doctor in the NY tri-state area, please let me know. Hello, my husband is a chronic addict, When saying that I mean he will do anything and he will do any amount at anytime and he doesnt care. He has been doing very well though here lately hes held a job for a few years, staying out of jail and he started a treatment program about 40 miles from where we live and he was taking the drug Subutex there. The issue with that is he had to go there everyday to get the dose. If you think about it, how can anyone do that and hold a job or afford to live right doing that, so hes been on 24mg a day and now hes not going there and we need to find a reasonably priced doctor that he can see to get the prescription for this medication and get it monthly. These "Orange Half Moons" are thee best Subutex BY FAR on the market! I was taking 3 Oxycontin 80 mg pills per day and was prescribed this to get off of them. US Florida residents can print out a coupon online for Buprenorphine 8 m.g. @ 60 tablets you save $ 170.00. I do not have health insurance! ## Subutex, however, also carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Additionally, most doctors will not prescribe Subutex for most people, Suboxone is the preferred choice, unless it's being prescribed for a pregnant woman, or someone has a documented allergy to Naloxone. I am glad they are working so well for you. Can anyone else that's been on this medication chime in with their experi...
