Well no one has reach out to me on this topic so day one i thanking 3 milligrams of sub this morning and i not in withdrawal ' i been on percect for 12 years and have other health issues! Iv jus move bk 2 ireland in england I wz on subutex bu now d ave put me on suboxone I found d subutex better I didn fel any cravins bu now im on suboxone I do cn any tel me wot d diff is I woz only on 12mg of subutex nw im on 16mg of suboxone&i stil dnt tink itz workn ## Suboxone contains the same opiate that's in Subutex, which is Buprenorphine, but it also contains Naloxone, to prevent the abuse of other narcotics, while someone is being treated with it. Since it is a narcotic, it does have the potential to be habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. I was in original trials for suboxone. Had been taking about 10-12 hydros/day, was put 1st on 12mg subox, then same on subutex for 11 yrs - no relapse. Now tho, trying to get off those. Had 20 8mg tabs Dec 1, but can't seem to get under 2 mg/day w/o RLS - along w/ insomnia, my worst fears (tried cold turkey once. And I'd even gotten off hydros in about 3 days cold, but I'm a lot older now). I now have only 9 left.If return to treatment (day rx), will give 2mg daily, but charge $15/day $450/mo. Can I make it tapering w/o withdrawal? I hate the MD who assured me that I shd take as if they were diabetes meds - forever! Can anyone offer help, info?

Im on morphine 20ml daily and fentonyl patches 100mg every 3 days I ran out of my pain relief last week n used subutex today. My script is due tomorrow is it safe to take without being in agony??? ## My advice - I currently have a very low tolerance and applied a 100 mcg patch 10 hrs ago. I stopped a 180 mg daily oxy habit of 3 years 2/14. Hi, I'm currently taking 120mg of methadone which i take 40mg every 8 hours and I've been in the hospital for over 3 months due to a blood infection that has left me almost unable to walk. Now I would have to go to a methadone clinic everyday in order to dose which is impossible with me being in a wheel chair right now. What kind of reaction am I to expect from taking 30mg of vyvanse & 16mg of subutex &125mg of librium on a daily basis? I feel well balanced out, outgoing & confident. I am well focused & Function on the top of my game. ## The main concern is the mixing of the Librium and Vyvanse, since they can both increase serotonin levels, if they go too high, it can lead to a possibly fatal condition called serotonin syndrome. I ran out of subutex last night - can I take suboxone today? ## Hi Ash, Based on my research, there are no drug interactions listed between Subutex and Suboxone. So with that being said, I wouldn't anticipate having any problems when switching between one or the other. Also, because Subutex contains the same active ingredient "Buprenorphine", taking the two meds together or within a short a time frame of one another would also be similar to just having an higher dose of Suboxone. To make this short, I am currently 8 months pregnant and taking between 8-12 mg of subutex daily. However I can't get my subutex for 12 days. I'm stuck. I've been taking a high dose of Methadone for the last 5 years around 100 mg. My last dose was Sunday of Methadone, and I went to the hospital last night and they gave me 8 mg of Morphine.
