I was given a fairly large white round pill that seems to be coated. On one side is a large g and the other sife has numbers, it broke so i can only make out a 1 at the bottom. I was told they are generic suboxone. Has anyon ever seen these? ## Yes, that is the new generic suboxone. Should be a quarter moon on one side and 155 on the other. ## @Johnny, I actually think you have a pill by the name of "Metformin" because the imprints match the description you provided. It is a (500 mg) white round pill with a large G on one side and on the other side, the imprint MF over 1. Metformin is an oral anti-diabetic drug in the biguanide class used in the treatment of diabetes, type 2, polycystic ovary syndrome, female infertility, and insulin resistance syndrome. Has anyone gotten the white w22 generic suboxone tablet? What is your opinion on them? This is the first time I got them and they are awful. They don't work the same and make you extremely tired. Also the taste of them is like you have artificial sweetener under your tongue. Very nasty. Never want them again. What does everyone else think? ## I love they're the only ones that I like. I love that they don't have the nasty over powering orange taste. But can I ask a question? What pharmacy did you get them from cuz I'm moving and need to know where to get them! ## I hate the w22 when I take them I feel like they don't work at all. I've been on duotone or subutex for about 12 years and this is by a landslide the absolutely worse one that I've tried. And I have p...

I have a pill that's suposted to be suboxone it has an arrow but instead of just an 8 it has a N8 on the other side I feel nothing is it a sub it dissolves Nd tastes like lemon ## Hello, Eric! How are you? Yes, Hi-Tech Pharmacal Co. list this as being an 8mg/2mg generic for Suboxone in a sublingual formulation. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

Does anyone know if there is a difference between the 5721 & 155? I have been on 155s & just recently got switched to 5721 due to my pharmacy. I called them today because I have been sick with bad headaches & stomach aches. But only after I take these. ## Hello, Capone! How are you? Under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, generics are allowed to differ from the name brand, in the amount of the active ingredients, by as much as plus or minus 20% and they do not have to measure against each other, only the name brand. Thus one generic could be lower in the amount of the active ingredients and one could be higher, which could explain you symptoms. However, since the differences are usually very slight, your body tends to adjust in a week, or two. Are you doing any better, yet?

Does the Suboxone pill with 5721 on it taste like oranges to anyone else? ## No. I just googled the exact question, then put them in my mouth and are completely DIFFERENT tasting. The round white pill 5721 is almost like an Altoid, although I just brushed my teeth before I took the dose, so that may affect my tasting. Your answer is no. ## The inactive ingredients in this tablet were listed as: acesulfame potassium, citric acid anhydrous, corn starch, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, mannitol, povidone k30, trisodium citrate dihydrate. So. it's possible that the citric acid can cause a slight citrus like taste. The FDA also warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and const...

I take small white pill 54 775 it buprenorphine 1 drug WHT isn't the other naxalone in with it and why would the Dr give just the one...I am still craving opioid's everyday, what do I do? ## Hello, Deb! How are you? Have you told your doctor that you're having this problem? It isn't the Naloxone that stops the cravings. As listed by the FDA, it actually neutralizes other opiates and is included in the Suboxone formulations to prevent the abuse of other drugs, while someone is under treatment with it. It is the Buprenorphine that helps prevent the cravings, since it is also an opiate. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Thus, you may actually...

I went to pick up my suboxone strips and was given the little white pill instead which I have read is the generic form. I normally take 1/2 strip twice daily and took the entire 8mg. tablet and did not have any of my normal effects from the strips. I then took another tablet a few hours later and still nothing. I read that this form of suboxone does not work and can cause you to go into withdrawal. Is this true? Why isn't it working? What can I do. The pharmacy told me that my insurance only covers the generic form, and not the orange ones or the strips. I'm obviously concerned about this and not sure what I can do. Any feedback would be appreciated. ## What are the markings on the tablet in question? Can you please post back and clarify? What effects are you expecting it to cau...

My message is for the person who was saying something about other companies not making suboxone because the first company has the rights to making it exclusively. While it is true for a period of I believe somewhere between 3 -7 years after it hits the market, suboxone has been around long enough that other companies can now make the same medicine and be in direct competition with the makers of the original suboxone. And there are several different generic suboxone makers now. It's big business and big money to these corporations that those of us dependent on the drug remain hooked just as we were our drug of choice. I have started to taper down off suboxone now, and hope to be off it by oct, 2013. I'm not knocking it for use as a substitute for other hard opioids, it's just...

little round white pill arrow sign pointing to the right on one side imprint number 8 on the other side ## Hi, Smokey! How are you? This is actually a generic for an 8mg Subutex tablet, it's a sublingual that's meant to be dissolved under your tongue. The difference is that the Subutex and its generics don't contain Naloxone, they only contain the Buprenorphine. Learn more Subutex details here. Ok so I know this is suboxone 8/2mg made by teva but I'm not sure if your supposed to leave it under your tongue to dissolve or if your supposed to swallow it. Also can you break these in half? ## You leave them under your tongue and yes its ok to break them in half because my doctor had me on 2 and a half a day so I had to break sum in order to take the half at night time:) now shes got me on 2 a day and that's working good for me also :-) And after it dissolved under your tongue don't drink anything for 30 minutes and the suboxone will have full effect which means it will work better but also it will last longer :-) ## Just got switched to 3 8mg Round White Pills a day from 3 8mg strips and the difference isn't as bad as I was thinking. IMO they're not as strong as...

I have what i was told was suboxone, the white ones with 155 on it which i have never taken before, but i looked it up and they do exist. But i see no marks or numbers at all. And they taste like lemon. Did i get screwed? ## No you didnt get screwed. That is a generic white sub....it taste lemony. ## Really cause i took 4 of the quarters which i don't usually take that much And did nothing to me. Im wondering if they were the 2 mg ones instead of the 8mg like i was told then ## What does the generic 155 suboxone taste like? Anybody tried them before? ## @Sara, Annie (post #1) already mentioned that the taste of these is lemony. However, from what I've been reading in some of the other discussion threads on here, there are people who find that the generic suboxone (w/ 155 on one ...

Has anyone ever been on these and how well do they work and could u just let me know how that did for u. I'm kinda nervous about switching. . ## Hello! I just got thest from my pharmacy as well and the side effects were really bad for me. I don't even think that they are real. Let me ask you this, if you take three or four of the pills and look at one side of each, looking at the 93 side left to right, and then when you flip the pill over to the left does the 5721 read at a totally different angle (the the 5721 is not imprinted in the exact same location as the 93?) do this with a few of the pills . I am curious to see if the imprints are straight across rea...

Hey... I just got a suboxone and by the markings it is supposed to be an 8/2 mg suboxone, but there was no image available on the internet. It has an N 8 on the front... and an arrow in the back. I've seen this question already asked a few times, but I got confused by your answers. Thanks. ## Mike, If it's a 8 and arrow on reverse its subutex 8mg. If not the possibilities are endless. If you received these from a legit source it should come with product insert information. If not I wouldn't risk taking something that can cause severe withdrawals if not taken as prescribed. Good luck ## The tablet with the N8 on, with the logo on the opposite is an 8/2mg Suboxone tablet. I am in Tennessee, and have been prescribed Suboxone 8/2mg ratio, and was told that the blister packs are the best for people I tried the Amneal orange generic, and it didn't work as well as the white ones I have had in the past. If you know of any pharmacy that carries them please let me know. It said cvs carried them, but I went to five different cvs and they told me "we are not accepting new patients for that drug", so cvs is out and it's the only one I knew that carried the brand manufactured by Actavis Pharmaceuticals, recently acquired by Teva pharmaceuticals. Does Walgreens carry the white Suboxone (Buprenorphine/naloxone), or rite-aid. Any advice is appreciated. Does the Company Actavis Elizabeth LLC offer any discounts or copay like the brand name Suboxon strips do?. I ask b/c the new white sublingual (half moon 155) pill, still cost more than the name brand sublingual films do. I cant use my $50 copay i use on the suboxone film. it comes out to be $130 more a month for this generic. Please Help if u know. have no insurance! ## No, such assistance things aren't generally offered for generic medications, except in the case of some that are considered to be life sustaining. Normally, generics are cheaper, just by the nature of being generic. However, if the price is cheaper for you when getting the name brand, you may want to ask your doctor if they can write 'brand medically necessary' on the prescription, so your pharmacy has to gi...
