I am prescribed lortab for a bulging disc and a pinched nerve, if I don't take anything the pain is intolerable! Sunday I had doctor appointment the next day so I had none left. A friend of mine gave me a suboxone out of sympathy. I usually don't take things that aren't prescribed to me but I trust her and had no other options. I took a drug text 5 days later for a new job. I broke my leg 2 years ago and now have a heel spur, arthritis on the top of my foot and a pinched nerve aka CRPS (Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome) in my ankle. I am hopefully getting a spinal cord stimulator surgically installed in a couple months. I truly don't know how much longer I can handle the pain. I take 16mg of Suboxone everyday, I want to ask my doctor if he can switch me to a strong opiate for the next couple months and then switch back to Suboxone but wean off in a week instead of long term maintenance. I have chronic pain issues. Numerous injuries, a spinal growth and advancing arthritic conditions have my left side barely ussable. I am permanently disabled at 44 and under the care of a pain management center. I was prescribed loritab/norco about 2 yeArs ago and of course the dose went and the tolerance built and by summer of 2014 I found myself taking 4 10's per day...and of course that wasn't enough so I found myself running low every month and spending the week or so before refills in extreme withdrawals. So I went to my general family doctor and started a Suboxone program and called the pain center and told them I didn't want Norco anymore and thought I as doing a good thing. Hi. Im on a 16 milagram suboxobe regimen even though the word habit comes to mind, anyway I'm 5 days early on my script. So of course i was panicked. I never want to go through withdrawal again. So being 7 weeks out of er surgery i went back to the hospotal last night. Dr prescribed 30norcos i need 4 days do you think that will help ## Thank goodness walgreens filled my script 5 days early. im going to have my second knee surgery soon i just lost my doctor of 10 years,never had a problem with him the new doctor who i have had for 2 months now is driving me crazy with urine test every 2 weeks i get 30 mg of perks 4 times a day some months i run 4 or 5 days short so i took some methadone for the withdrawals,and it showed up in the test, now i have to get another doctor because he thinks im selling them whem im really just taking more than im suppose to,and i honestly told him the truth but a week later he found it in the test again but i did not even take anymore ,if this happens again would i be better off taking suboxone instead of methadone....anyone please... ## By taking more than you are supposed to, you have broken your treatment agreement with the doctor. I'm currently on 24 mg of Suboxone after asking my doctor to switch from 50 mg of oxycodone to suboxone. It's just not working for the pain like it did at first. I'm in so much pain all day! She said she would switch me back to oxycodone at 60 mg a day since this isn't working well for me anymore. I've had people tell me that Suboxone is much stronger and that 60 mg wouldn't even be enough. So I've been on suboxone for almost a year. I know no early fills and the whole deal. But this month it's been a fiasco. Last month dropped my rx off at Riteaid but got partial fills. The last partial fill was for 5 strips which is 4 days but in the system the tech put that it was 12 days because of that error when I brought it to CVS this month they fill half of it and charged me full amount. (Even with insurance it costs me a hefty penny). I asked the pharmacist and tech wHy my insurance didn't cover it, and she said it was a day to early. At that time it seemed odd since I hadn't had my daily dose because I had to make my appt a day later than usual. Maybe im crazy but i don't like the strips, i just don't feel they work as well as the pills. I never ran short with the pills, but the strips i seem to take more. Anyone else feel this way? My dr said she'll only prescribe the strips and it's all in my head. ## Hello, Terisita! How are you? You're not the only one that has said this, it just seems that different formulations work better for different people. However, if you stuck with the strips at the amount you're supposed to take, then your body would likely adjust after a week or so. How can you tell what milligram suboxone wax squares are by color? I have a pink on and need to know what to talk to my doctor about. I have searched and searched and I don't know what milligrams they come in and I don't know how to split it up. ## That I am aware of, there's no such thing as a blue suboxone strip - the packaging is blue, but the strips are typically orange although I have heard of white ones. The only ones that i know for a fact are the orange strips.
