I no longer have insurance and I am wondering if there were any free treatment centers in the Birmingham Alabama that prescribed silicone? ## Hello, Connie! How are you? Unfortunately, there are none that treat with Suboxone that I'm aware of, it is actually provided by private doctors that have the special waver to treat with it. Have you considered Methadone treatment? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## I would stay away from methadone. Bad for your teeth. Makes you sleepy. More easy to decrease your suboxone than methadone. That's my opinion .

Talking about suboxone last tuesday I took 1 (8)mg Suboxone April 6, 2010 , on the next day April 7, 2010 , I had 13 teeth removed from the front all the way to the back right top and bottom they was rotten from all the past drug use I have done, when I got to the oral surgern the gave me Valium , Versed, and Drmerol . I did not get high but was knocked out and did not feel anything till the Versed worn off, I did not advise the surgeon of my Suboxone use till that night he was not at all worried about it and sent me home with a RX of demerol 50 mg was told to take 1-2 every 4-6 hours as needed for pain with the Suboxone still in my system I did not get the effect of the high ( buzz) of it but it did take the pain away the next day Thursday he gave me another rx of 20 Demerol 50 mg with...

I am trying get myself clean off H n just took a 6mg suboxone strip. Will it help if so long till it works? ## Hi Kitty! B 4 the suboxone will work, u MUST b in withdrawals. Otherwise, it won't work and can make u feel worse. As far as time, they usually take about 15 minutes 2 work. If the g don't work, u may need more. It all depends on how much and how long u were using. But, if you want 2 get clean, u r going 2 need more than a day or few 2 do it. U should go 2 a clinic or suboxone dr and do it properly. If u r not already doing that. Remember, the main thing is 2 b withdrawing b 4 u take the suboxone.

Down to 30mg morphine from 300. Out of pills, so friend gave me a 8mg Sub. To help. Waited 24hrs til i was sick. Took 2mg and was on top. Best mood and pain relieve ever. I'm on day four of no subs after a 24 mg a day treatment for pain and addiction. I wish i never touched the stuff. My pain management doc reccommended them to me after a year long perc and vic habit. I wish i just would of suffered throught the few days of WD from that instead of going on subs. THEY DID GIVE ME MY LIFE BACK. BUT!!!! They are very very very hard to let go of. The WD is not as intense as dope sick but it is drawn out and mostly mental. The first week is achey and pissed off. I know that because thats how far i got before then started subs again. I am in a drug court.program which does not allow me to be on suboxen.. I have to stop not only for myself & sobriety but for my baby girl!!! I want to do this.. but my addictive personality does not help either!! I was on xanax-pills & used pot daily & I stopped that with no problem!! Why is this suboxen SO HARD to stop doing?? Went to my sub. dr. yesterday and he lowered my dose of 12mg per day to 8mg. or one film strip. I told him I want to get off sub. completely so he,s gonna taper me down to very low dose. I asked him about WDS. and he assured me that there would be next to none. I doubt this. He told me he would prescribe Tramadol when I got off the Suboxone and then wean me off it. Has any one tried or heard of this method? ## I've not heard of tramadol being used for WDS, but I tried it for pain once. I am new to all this bit I have been everyone post on here for days which have been helping me with the suboxone withdrawl. I was only taking 2mg a day so I went down to .50 I think it was way to fast. So I went to 1mg I didn't think my withdrawl was going be that bad but they was. My son is in rehab and they started him on suboxone one 4md in morning and 8 mg in afternoon. I can't find a provider that prescribes this in northern Harford County Maryland (Not Dr. Gay Please) How much is sub for an entire month supply or even daily. ## this site does not prescribe nor sell any medications. I am on 8 mg og Suboxone a day. I take it at 6am. I know it should last atleast 24 hrs, but it seems as if I go to sleep during the day, I wake up sick. Is this possible, that when I'm sleeping my body burns off the suboxone quicker? ## No, that doesn't make any sense. When you are asleep, your metabolism actually slows down, so if anything, it should take longer to process a medication. Have you spoken to your doctor about this problem? It is highly possible that the current 8mg dosage you are on isn't enough for you. Another problem that may cause you to wake up sick, has to do with the same slowing of your metabolism when you sleep. And it has to do with if you are eating or drinking anything, before you lay down. Are you doing this? When you do this, the items you ingest...

I live in Kokomo, IN. I was on subs, but they require way to many na/as meetings. I have a full time job and 2 kids to look after. I heard there is a doc in Carmel that doesn't make you do these classes. I just need the medication cause I've been addicted to opiates for almost 20 years. Any help would be greatly appreciated. ## Most of the places I've tried make you find your own counselor which can be super expensive and difficult to get an appointment or else they won't prescribe you the medicine. I found a clinic opening in Carmel next month called Lucina treatment center which at least provides the counseling included in your cost so might give them a try. Can't be any worse than my current provider.

I really truly need someone's help...after many years of surgeries became addicted to narcotics. Now, I have been on suboxone for close to 6 years. I just can't keep doing this...I can't afford it anymore and I am sick of the Dr's. I have tried getting off before and wished for it to be all over!
