Suboxone Dose Timing
2 Topics FoundI took an 1/8 or less of a 8/2mg suboxone. I did not take it to get off opiates but to ease through wds until i get my script filled tomorrow This is my first time ever taking suboxone. Will such a low dose prevent me from feeling my percocet in 20hrs? ## I don't have personal experience on the matter, but I'd imagine that the Suboxone wouldn't have had much time to accumulate in your system since you've only been taking it for a couple days now. According to wiki, the elimination half-life of buprenorphine lies anywhere between 20 to 73 hours (or about 37 hours on avg). If you want to play it safe you should probably give it an extra day and trust your intuition on the timing of your dose. Everyone's metabolism is different, but this way you'd at least know for ...

Hello everyone! I was just wandering if anybody else is sometimes off by the timing of taking their suboxone? My Dr. Told me 2 try and take it at the same time every day. But a lot of times I'm off by 2-4 hours. Reason being is, I'm up a lot of nights in pain ( sometimes, half the night.) and, I'll take it a little earlier, or, fall back 2 sleep, and take it a little later. I get u/a every time I go 2 Dr. And, I don't want it 2 effect my results. I do only take the amount I'm suppose 2. This just started happening recently. ## Hi Cats68, Being off a few hrs here and there shouldn,t effect your dose or u/a. Subs have an unbelievably long half life. My sub dr. told me that as far as pain is concerned subs only give relief for around 10hrs. Thats why he has me taking it...
