I was just wondering if some doctors prescribe Suboxone for pain? ## Most don't and from what I understand, insurance companies won't cover it for anything other than drug dependency issues. I have heard of a few people who have taken it for pain but its typically only prescribed for pain as a last resort because of other medical issues making the person unable to take anything else. Why are you trying to get on suboxone? Long term use of it for something like pain management is in my opinion a nastier habit to kick than regular opiates. The Dr Appts are very expensive and the withdrawal lasts months. If your concerned about taking opiates for pain I'd urge you to look into other alternatives. And if you're looking to get off of opiates for pain management just remember,...

i am looking for a doctor in Long Island that is covered dy Medicaid ## Forgettabout' it! I'll do you a favor and save you at least 1&1/2 days which ='s wasting 36 hours calling dozens of doctors trying and hoping to find just even a single one who will accept even any kind of insurance (let alone yours). Not even any or even a one doctor will accept any medical insurance for suboxone treatment/ prescription and if you do find that one doctor in the NY tri-state area, please let me know. Legally/according to law, they away required and have to accept your insurance as payment, if they participate/accept your health insurance plan. BUT say suboxone/subutex/buprenorphrine & your done --- meaning no insurances are ever accepted for opiate maintenance programs. Dirty, sn...

I was on suboxone 2 mg 2x a day for 4 years. I stopped cold turkey due to a request from and death of my father. 16 days until I could sleep more than 2 hours.. Days 1-5 weren't as bad as 6-14. After that it was restless legs.. Fatigue, depression, anxiety, depression again... Not until I began. Sleeping 6+ hours did most of it go away.. Still have depression and restless legs not almost 2 months later and everyday around my normal second dose time I notice I get very tired. F*** suboxone. Do not use it for more than a detox. Save yourself. If I could go back and withdraw off dope or methadone, I'd have stuck with them and not been a p**** and use sub's as a crutch. The "substance abuse" doctors give 0 s***s about you. Its all a business. $$$$ ## Unfortunately, after...

ON SUBOXONE?NOT ONE DOCTOR WHO WILL PERSCRIBE ME SUBUTEX? ## Hello, John! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. Is your allergy listed in your medical records? If not, that might be the problem. Suboxone is preferred, because it helps prevent the abuse of other medications, while someone is under treatment with it, as listed by the FDA. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Thus, Subutex is a last resort and only used, when someone has docume...

Tricare does not cover Suboxone doctors or prescription. They will however cover your prescription for Subutex or generic buprenorphine. I pay $10 no matter how many pills are prescribed for generic buprenorphine or Subutex. My doctor personally bills my lab work which is $120 a month two Tricare but I am paying out-of-pocket for the doctor's visit. VA will not do anything where I am. But I know and very few VA sites there are doctors prescribing Suboxone good luck finding them. ## Hey! I'm on tricare standard. I was referred to pain management out in town. My dr has been awesome. I'm trying to find a private doctor in the Charlotte North Carolina area that will prescribe me Methadone? I travel a lot with my job and the clinic is pretty much as inconvenient as possible. Anybody know one? ## Many private doctors will not provide Methadone treatment, unless it is a last resort for pain and nothing else has worked. It requires constant regular monitoring of the patient, as well as accountability to the government for all prescriptions written. Have you considered a possible shorter-term treatment with Suboxone? Most people can successfully get off it, without severe problems, after treatment. ## I am a Director of Quality for a manufacturing facility in Goldsboro. I am new to the area. i come from KY. where I am prescribed methadone by my family Dr for pain. I r...

im looking for a doctor that priscribes methadone. i dont want to go the clinics. suboxone does not work for me and i really want to get off of oxycodone. my boyfriend has been clean for 4 months now. and from my car accident and i also have nerve damage, it makes it harder for me to get off, because im in so much pain. i tryed many times to stop, but i cant handle the pain. i lost everyone i loved and i dont want to lose my boyfriend to. ## I am very sorry, but if you are looking for something outside of the setting of a clinic, there is really no way to know what doctor would be willing to prescribe it. When it comes to addiction treatment, most doctors will not provide such treatment outside of a clinic, because they do have to follow certain laws and treatment protocols, in order to...

Really want to get off of this stuff. will pay cash if have to. ## Well, in such cases, most doctors are going to want you to just taper off of the Oxycontin, because it is easier and safer. I have been on Subutex for a couple years. The doctor I have went nuts and told me he is closing shop and hates all his clients. Anyway he switched me to suboxone film for my last script. I have been on it for 4 days the 1st two days I didn't feel great but it was manageable and now yesterday and today I am so sick. I feel like a I am in full withdraw i tried taking more but it made it worst. I have no opiates in my system I have only taken subtext for years. I've been trying to find a subutex doctor. I used to take oxys, perk 30's and other opiates but then I started subutex. I now have a good job and want to keep it that way! But now any doctor I've called wants to prescribe suboxone first and it makes me sick. it gives me migraines (which I have chronic migraine syndrome so it must be a trigger) a rash and makes me sick to the stomach. Second I have no insurance and its just way too expensive from all the research I've done. Does anyone know of doctors in central PA that prescribe subutex or how I go about getting subutex and not suboxone?? ## I go to a dr in Mobile Al who I adore - its a total judgment free zone but majority staff are lazy and don't return calls - the same ones who are good are amazing! I just moved here from Tn. I'm having a very hard time finding a doc. here. I've been without my meds now 6 days and I'm feeling the withdrawal effects. Please help ## Hi, You can go to the suboxone site and put in your zip code and find sub drs. in your area. You can also just google "soboxone doctors in south carolina". Theres a health law called "the 3 day rule" that lets a dr. give you suboxone for 3 days but it must be administered by doctor which means that there must be a pharmacy on site. A doctor in the emergency room at the hospital could do this if they know about this rule. I,m guessing the average doctor probably doesn't. Good luck! ## I've been 2 the er they won't help me I've also called several clinics they won't help me un...
