i recently got a 8mg 155 imprint with a half moon imprint on the other side, i read up that its an 8 mg with a 2 mg base. im not sure what that meant so my question is, is this 155 8 mg pill as strong as the 8 mg sublingual film? ## Hello, Rob! How are you? Yes, they are the same. The base just basically refers to it as being equivalent, to put it in very simple terms for you. The actual medical ones would be very hard to understand and I really don't feel like trying to spell them all, either. LOL But yes, it is the same dosage and just as effective. They can help with pain, but should not be taken if you aren't tolerant to narcotics or if you've taken any other narcotics recently, because the Naloxone in them could throw you into dangerous withdrawals. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and const...
