I am questioning a pill. The doc said to my friend it is a new suboxone however i cannot locate it anywhere. Its is a round orange pill with an orange flavor with the imprint of a dagger on one side i think and i cant see what the other side says. it may have a coating of sorts on it. Has anyone heard of this new suboxone shape? ## normal suboxone 8mg tablet is kindof big, octogon shape with small cross shape on one side as well. It is not a "new" suboxone tablet, however. If you bring it to any pharmacist and show it, they will confirm what it is. They won't take it from you either. Hope this helped. I am trying get myself clean off H n just took a 6mg suboxone strip. Will it help if so long till it works? ## Hi Kitty! B 4 the suboxone will work, u MUST b in withdrawals. Otherwise, it won't work and can make u feel worse. As far as time, they usually take about 15 minutes 2 work. If the g don't work, u may need more. It all depends on how much and how long u were using. But, if you want 2 get clean, u r going 2 need more than a day or few 2 do it. U should go 2 a clinic or suboxone dr and do it properly. If u r not already doing that. Remember, the main thing is 2 b withdrawing b 4 u take the suboxone.

I'm on day four of no subs after a 24 mg a day treatment for pain and addiction. I wish i never touched the stuff. My pain management doc reccommended them to me after a year long perc and vic habit. I wish i just would of suffered throught the few days of WD from that instead of going on subs. THEY DID GIVE ME MY LIFE BACK. BUT!!!! They are very very very hard to let go of. I have been taking subs for about 5monthes now...had tapered down to 1mg a day and then I messed u and took 2-4 mg a day for about a week. Now I can't get anymore and I only have about 1 and a quarter of a pill left ( About 10 mg) ...am I going to be able to use this small amount to be able to taper enough to have light enough withdrawls symptoms so that I can still go to work...or am I screwed? ## IT is difficult to say, since it does contain the narcotic Buprenorphine, you may experience withdrawals, but the severity can vary from one person to another. Down to 30mg morphine from 300. Out of pills, so friend gave me a 8mg Sub. To help. Waited 24hrs til i was sick. Took 2mg and was on top. Best mood and pain relieve ever. Want to continue quick taper. Pills weren't made to break in 8 pcs. Friend won't give up a strip. Selfish pig. I am new to all this bit I have been everyone post on here for days which have been helping me with the suboxone withdrawl. I was only taking 2mg a day so I went down to .50 I think it was way to fast. So I went to 1mg I didn't think my withdrawl was going be that bad but they was. I got a white pill it's suppose to b a suboxen 10mg it has on one side 155 and the other side it has a D is it a suboxen my brothers comming off methadone he hasn't had ne methadone in 2wks want to b sure this is a sub so he can feel better ## Yeah that's a generic brand suboxone. There is no 10mg suboxone though. It is 8mg suboxone and 2mg naloxone. The imprint on the front side isn't a D, it's a crescent moon, the logo of the manufacturer. I hope this helps!

simple Q, i been back n forth, takin subs, than relapsing. i been battlin this way for a long time. on and off on and off. now it kinda seems like the subs arent as affective. i relapsed the first day of taking my subs , i took the usual amount i always do. and it doesnt really work. so in a panic. i relapsed again. i want to start taking my subs again though. so is it safe that i wait the 12 hrs ui always do to take my subs again which are prescribed to me? or should i wait longer totake my subs?

I am on 8 mg og Suboxone a day. I take it at 6am. I know it should last atleast 24 hrs, but it seems as if I go to sleep during the day, I wake up sick. Is this possible, that when I'm sleeping my body burns off the suboxone quicker? ## No, that doesn't make any sense. When you are asleep, your metabolism actually slows down, so if anything, it should take longer to process a medication. Have you spoken to your doctor about this problem? It is highly possible that the current 8mg dosage you are on isn't enough for you. Another problem that may cause you to wake up sick, has to do with the same slowing of your metabolism when you sleep.
