I did find an article saying that it has been shown to help regenerate nerves, however, they are not very specific on how much regeneration it does and it was just one clinical trial, so this isn't really a sure thing, yet. If so, it isn't approved here and the only legal way to import it would be if someone has a serious health condition and there are no alternatives in the U.S, that can be used. I am on stresam 50mg and have now gotten a trepiline 10mg prescription today to take at night before bed. Is it safe to use both together? I don't want something strange happening to me at any point. ## Has your doctor instructed you to take both of them? Stresam is listed as containing Etifoxine, and Trepiline contains Amitriptyline, they are sometimes used together, in cases where someone has severe anxiety that is resistant to treatment, but in such cases, their doctors should be monitoring them regularly, in case of any problems. The U.S. FDA warns that combining such medications may cause more severe side effects, which may include nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, sedation, and somnolence.
