I underwent Aeotic valve replacement in April 2006. After 6 months Dr. prescribed 3 tablets viz. Amalong 5mg, Ecosprin 150 mg, and Storvas 10mg. There was no problem upto 2013 December. For the past one and half years I developed Prostate condition (urine passes slowly), of course my creatinine is 1.1. Dr.says that deposits in the urine bladder may be a reason. I just want to know whether any side effect is possible because of the above medicines. I am 67 now. ## It is doubtful, such medications usually cause increased urination and, occasionally, kidney stones, according to the NIH. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, and joint/muscle aches. Are you taking anything to help with your prostate issue?

My husband was taking storvass40 . In feb he had to undergo knee surgery so his diabetic doctor reduced dose to storvass 20. Now can he start storvass 40 again. His recent test lipid profile shows hdl cholestrol as 38.3.. ldl 53.1.. cholestrol [[chod [pod]] 115.8 triglycerides 122.1. vldl 24.4 chol/hdlchol ratio 3.0. ldlchol/hdl chol ratio 1.4 are the readings normal or at a risk level? Can he start of with storvass 40 to bring HDL level high. ## What has his doctor advised? The relevant dosage here might not just depend on his levels, but his overall health and any other medications he may be taking. Sir, I undergone Angio Plasty in 1998.I am 67 years old.I don't have any heath problems.I am under medication after Angio Plasy.My Dr.priscribed Storvas EZ 10 and Ecosprin 75 mg.I don't have BP. Hi i am 63. I did bypass surgery on 22/08/2012. After surgery Dr. advised clopitap 75/75, nebicard 2.5, storvas 40mg. Now i have severe muscle pain in my back near hip, foot is burning more and I can't sit for more than 20 minutes. If i sit for more than 20 minutes my back pain starts. ## That can be a normal side effect of this medication, according to NIH reports. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, and increased urination. How are you doing, now? Has there been any change?

I had a stroke 5 months back, paralyzing my right side. I am now taking Storvas 20mg and undergoing regular physiotherapy. However, now I have shoulder pain, I cant lift up my right arm because of pain in my muscle and the accompanying joint pain. My doctor says I have to take this medication for the rest of my life. I have been taking storvas 10 tablets (once daily) for the past 8 days as a remedy for my high cholestrol. For the last 3 days, there is swelling and joint pain around my left ankle and right foot fingers. Since i suffer from high uric acid also, i suspected the problem to be on account of the same and got a blood test done for the same. To my surprise, my uric acid levels were below normal (2.5 against a ref of 3.5 to 7.1 for males). Is this problem possible on account of the storvas medication.

l started taking atorvastatincalcium ( 10mg) almost 2 months ago when my doctor discovered that l have a plaque in my neck muscle and l was told it will reduce or dissolve this pllaque but ever since l started talking it ,l have experience alot of issues like my leg muscles just cotracting with me doing anything and this night the muscle in my forehead won't stop contracting and tbis gives me a sort of worry. ## Those can be typical side effects of this medication, additionally, some modern research has shown that taking them to lower cholesterol is not necessary, though as with most other findings, more studies need to be done.
