Have been using mesulid for cronic knee pain from osteoartritis. It has been the only medication that has stopped the inflamation and pain. I was prescribed from a pharmacy in Greece. Here in the states I can't get it. ## I experienced severe muscle spasms in the States after Physical Therapy for my upper back. We traveled to Greece in August of 2009, a week after the symptoms first appeared, and while I was still in incredible physical pain. A doctor here prescribed Mesulid, until he could see me, once he returned from vacation, 4 days after the prescribed medication. It hasn't been a super drug yet, but it HAS helped lessen my symptoms, and helped me cope a bit better. It has also made me drowsy and yesterday, 2 days after administration, I have a dull headache. i was given the above for pain when i had a knee replaced, now i'm going for the other one and the doctor told me to stop taking diclofenac and my replaced knee is killing me when i walk. is the above pill (subject)contain any blood thinners???? ## Hi, Jack! Sorry about the pain that you're in. The two ingredients are 7.5mgs of the narcotic Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The Acetaminophen can have some slight blood thinning effect, so I'd suggest checking with your doctor, before taking it, to see if it is safe for you to do so. Learn more Lortab details here. Since it contains a narcotic, it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, dizziness and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## v... ...

Was given a steroid injection for right knee pain & was given lodine 2x daily & took glucosamine chondroitin with msm. Felt better in 2 weeks. Stopped taking med & suppliment but suddenly developed stiff achy muscles & joints, specifically backs of knees & neck. Have headache, fever, chills, shakishaking ness of breath (feels like I took in too much chlorine water @ pool-w/out swimming). Am normally healthy 59 yr old female, active swimmer, jogger & golfer. ## Hello, Menaches! How are you? Have you had this checked out by your doctor? It could be due to the steroid, but it's hard to say for sure. Its typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, nervousness, weight gain and acne. However, there is also a chance that it was due to the... ...

I had a knee surgery yesterday. I have been using subutex to help me taper narcotics. I stopped the subutex 2 weeks before surgery. My doctor prescribed both percocet and oxycontin. I am getting no pain relief. The iv Dilaudid worked in the hospital. Has anyone used Dilaudid by pill at home ## I have suffered with chronic neck and back pain for years due to disk and nerve problems. My Dr. switched me from oxycontin to diulaudid (4-8 mg) and it worked for the first 9 mos. or so, then I got no relief. Many people get sick on it or very itchy. I am now on a higher dosage of Percoset. ## Are you familiar with subutex? ## No, I'm not. ## It is a new drug that has some pain killing ability. It is a controlled substance. Symbicort, my side effects
4 Replies RSS
I've been taking Symbicort for about a year. I started to get knee pain when I bent my knees. Then lower back pain with shoulder and neck pain. I stopped taking it and experienced withdrawal as shortness of breath. Could hardly walk. It's been a month and I'm starting to feel better. Proventil seem to be having a better effect now. Joint pain subsided. But I have a rash on my right calf for four months. What can I do for the rash to subside. Will it go away by itself? I'm taking epsom salts baths. It seem to be helping with the asthma. ## Hi, Dan! How are you doing? Sorry about the problems you had with the Symbicort. Have you talked to your doctor about the rash? What should be done for it, if anything, is really going to depend on what has caused it. ## I'm hoping ... ...

I am a 65 year old woman and I was put on xarelto 20mg in Oct 2015. I have knee pain and thigh pain, so I called my doctor and he took me off, but I still have the pain. How long does it remain in your system for? I stopped the meds on Dec 28th 2015. ## Hello, Moe! How are you feeling? Since you were taking it for several months, it could take 2 weeks, or so, for things to improve. You should start to see a gradual improvement, as time passes, if not, then you should consult your doctor, again. Other typical side effects that the FDA lists for this medication include nausea, headache and easy bruising. Can anyone else that's had to stop taking this medication chime in? ...

Gemcal Ds Vitamin

Gemcal Ds was prescribed to my wife, about 56 years old, suffering from pain from neck, shoulder and to her knees. She took it for the first time, before taking breakfast, as advised to her. After about two hours she started feeling very uneasy, dizzy and wanting to vomit. The next day when taken, the effect was same, so she has stopped taking this medicine (Vitamin). Any comment/response to resolve this problem will be most welcome and will also be highly appreciated. Best regards. Abdul Rashid (from Aden, Yemen) ## gemcal ds is a veg or nonveg? ## Did she consult her doctor? It may just have been due to the fact that she took it on any empty stomach and she might need to take it with food to prevent the nausea and dizziness. She should discuss that with her doctor. I have been to several doctors about my knees,I can barely walk at times and its so hard for me to stand at work..ive inquired about the cortisone shots but no one wants to help, all they give is pills that don't help much at all!! Ketoprofen Discontinued?
1 Reply RSS
Hi, I've been taking 75mg Ketoprofen with One 50 mg Tramadol for quite some time for back and knee pain, once or twice a day with pretty good results. I just tried getting my Ketoprofen refilled at Sam's Club, and was told the're not making it any more, and the pharmacist called Walmart and they had none either. Does anyone know if ALL makers of ketoprofen have stopped, or just the brand name Companies? No other nsaid works nearly as well, so my fingers are crossed! ## Hi Rick, Sorry to hear about your situation. From what I could gather, Ketoprofen's other trade names (Nexcede, Orudis, Oruvail, Actron) are all reported to be discontinued brands. Diacerine effects liver and kidney
Post a Reply
Why is diacerine band in US UK n other western countries? Is it because this drug is too strong and has negative side effects? I have been prescribed this drug for my knee pain as well. Took it for about a week but since I noticed deep yellowish urine and read online about its possible side effects i stopped it. However, I noticed a significant improvement in my knee pain and was able to get back to my badminton session while I was taking it. What I'd like to know is it's adverse side effects and whether or not it effects the liver and kidney too. Your comment and advice will be appreciated. Thanks. ...

Pharmacy issued prescription incorrectly
2 Replies RSS
I was prescribed Meloxican 15mg for knee pain. RX bottle indicated 1 tab/4 times daily. Took 30 pills in short amount of time. Also was told to take acetaminophen between RX if needed. Went to refill RX and pharmacist said that original RX was written to be taken 1 pill/1 daily. (She wondered why I was refilling so quickly) So now I am concerned if I have taken a toxic amount of meds. I called poison control and was told there was no actual data to indicate toxic amounts of this RX. No side effects other than a little nausea and diarrhea. I have stopped taking RX and acetaminophen now. Any thoughts if I may have any permanent kidney or liver damage? (took 30 pills in 12 days and 58 years old) ## Hello, Yvonne! How are you? I have been taking either suboxone or subutex for a little over a year now. I started taking it because I have a bad knee and my line of work causes a lot of pain (CNA in nursing home). I refuse to have a baby hooked on anything but I have read that stopping can cause miscarriage. I am already scared because I had a miscarriage 6 years ago. I do not know what to do.
