I'm supposed to take it every 6 hours for my lower abdomen pains However I'm still in pain, can I take more or should I just sit through the pain. ## Hello, Julio! How are you? It would be best not to change your dosage, without your doctor's approval. This medication isn't an actual analgesic, it works by decreasing the motion of your stomach and intestines. I can also take several weeks to reach its full level of efficacy in your body. How long have you been taking it? The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, bloating and blurred vision. ...

I am having severe pain and also have a knot in the joint region of my right thumb at the thumb hand junction. Ibuprofen gives me severe stomach pain. Now that I can no longer take it due to recall I am not taking anything other then Excedrin Migraine. It doesn't help very well especially if its a severe headache or joint pain. ## Have you consulted a doctor?
