Stomach Bloating

i am taking lercanidipine tablets 10mg also irbesartan tablets 300mg also nexium ec tablets 20mg and half asprin. iam suffering from bloating and discomfort in the stomach area. would this combination , or any one of these medications be causing my problem ? ## Have you consulted your doctor? Any of the medications you've listed may cause such side effects, or it may be a combination of taking them all. You really need to talk to your doctor, because the Nexium may not be the right medication to help you prevent this from occurring. Have you tried any other antacids?

Hi, I am a 26 year old female. I have had a history of bloating problem. Ususally it used to happen around periods, but ocassionally it used to persist through out the month. Once a doctor told me vit B12 deficiency was the reason, I took B12 shots and the problem subsided. After a year, the problem reappeared, this time B12 didnt help, I was given Cintapride and unienzyeme. It worked. A year later now, the problem has reappeared, Cintapride with a semethicone (gasofilm) hasnt worked, Nexipride i.e levosulpride with uniemzyme hasn't worked either. I do not have diabetes, constipation or other disease. ...I feel full all the time and now the lower back muscles have started to ache on bloating. I eat moderate and healthy. I feel fatigued most of the time...Any idea what could it be..or w

I have been on Viibryd 40 mg almost since the first day it came out and was one of the lab rats when it was in clinical trials. I loved it because it made me feel normal. I have noticed though for about 18 months I have issues with leg swelling, water retention and significant abdominal bloat that won't go away. I am going to try going down to 20 mg. Any one else have these issues? Did they get better with a reduced dose? I hate to go off because I feel awake and not experiencing almost nonfunctional exhaustion with terrible allergies and weird aches and pains I have without it. So I started on wegovy around 7 weeks ago. I've dropped from 277 to 240 in that time span. One thing I noticed is that my upper stomach area is still always bloated and like I'm retaining water. I know since my diet has drastically changed, my calories have dipped. So one, I'm not eating no where as much as the past, and I guess not getting a ton of fiber. I can't stand Metamucil. Was wondering for any other tips. Thanks. ## As an adamant non-fan of Metamucil, I feel your pain. You can get fiber capsules that will help. Just make sure to take them with plenty of water. I take 3 capsules twice a day, and it helps. My Dr put me on Fenofibrate along with another cholesterol med. Now I have severe stomach bloating. I am so embarrassed. Should I cut my Fenofibrate in 1/2? I don't know what Dr to trust anymore. According to FDA reports, most medications can cause bloating, but it is hard to say, without knowing what all you are taking. Why were you prescribed more than one medication to lower cholesterol? More recent peer reviewed research is showing that high cholesterol is not a contributing risk factor for heart disease, or heart attack. While more studies need to be done, doctors generally shouldn't resort to immediately medicating people.

I've been taking Citalopram 20 mg for two weeks now, for anxiety. It took around 7 days to kick in, but I suffered anxiety symptoms in second week and had a very mild stomach ache and bloated feeling. Has anyone had a similar experience? ## Citalopram, the active ingredient in Celexa, is an antidepressant. It can take several weeks to reach its full effect and help relieve your anxiety, if it does not work in the next 1 to 2 weeks, please make sure to contact your doctor. And yes, the things you are experiencing can be normal side effects of this medication, you may also experience symptoms that include dizziness and headache. Are you on any medications? What types of foods do you eat? How much water do you drink each day? ## The best and safest remedy is lots of water (I try to drink 100 oz. per day) and exercise. You may not want to hear that. I definitely have to fight this battle as well. This was the only solution that worked. Also eating an apple first thing in the morning helps as well.

Have been taking Eliquis 5 mg 2x day for almost 3 months. Seem to be having Stomach Pain, Abdominal Swelling, Bloating, Gas, Facial Swelling and lots of weight gain and water retention. Also brain fog and memory problems. (It's hard to tell how much of this is from Eliquis and how much from CHF associated with A-Fib. Also taking Beta Blocker and Digoxin.) i hav problem of frequent dirrhoia,fullness ,blotting after eating,burning in easophagus and not proper evacuation in the mornoing.Recently I had dirrohia after which i had cipro-oz for 5days as prescribed by my physician.After 3-4 days again i had prob of having 3-4 stools accompnied by burning ,bloating,fullness nausia as usual. Are you making sure to take it on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before ingesting anything else? This medication has been kind of iffy, a lot of people have found that it seems to stop working, after awhile. How long have you been taking it? Hi. After being intolerant to metformin I started jardiance two weeks ago. I have lactose intolerance so no dairy. I am waking in the night with severe stomach ache and bloating in my mid stomach pancreas area. Has anyone else had this? Does it go away? I'm also on Lansoprazole and Telmisartan. ## Jardiance has been known to cause some gastrointestinal issues as side effects, including stomach pain, but you should have this checked out by your doctor to be sure. I am getting stomach pain from Norethindrone.
