I have been on this medication for (off and on) for abt. 4 years (estimate) It is also listed as ENTOCORT. It is prescribed by my Gastroenterologist Doctor the 1st time in Sept.2012 - then again in 2017 after another colonopscopy showing that my colitis (flammable) had returned. It is very expensive, and due to many problems with my diverticulitis and colitis I have to continue using it as a last resort to my colon problems. I also have an aneursym located in my head that I got when I fell on cement on 2/7/2013. I was taking the cortisteriod Entocort when this happened ( 1 per day). My wife has Rhuemotoid arthitis since 4 years & since 2 yeras she is taking 4mg Zempred daily, HCQS 200mg & BGcal CTF. Now she started taking on alternate days as we got to know this steriod should not be used long. Niw whenever after taking this tablet, her heart beat increases & weakness & uneasy. After 30min she feel better & her pain stop. Hope this has no any dangerous impact on her. Her age is 30 yeras. Please advise how to stop taking Zempred 4 mg. ## Those are normal side effects of this medication, according to NIH reports. She may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, and insomnia. Non-steriod, anti-inflammatory tablets (such as Ibuprophen) make me sick. My Rheumatologist gave me a sample tube of Valteran Gel 1% for bursitis in my hip. I was amazed at how well it worked. Unfortunately I've used all the sample. I asked for a prescription which she faxed to my pharmacy. The pharmacy did not have it and said they don't know when they'll get more. I live in a small town and was told none of the pharmacies have had any for a couple of months. I would like to know how I can find a pharmacy that does have this drug so I can have a prescription for Valteran Gel 1% sent to that pharmacy. my 11 month has croup and was prescribed steriods and is no better after 4 days , is is safe to give her pinamox antibiotic ## Piramox contains Amoxicillin, which is an antbiotic and will only help if her problem is caused by an infection. I would assume it isn't and that is why her doctor didn't prescribe antibiotics in the first place. The steroid is not an instant solution and it will take time to work, 4 days is not enough, you should continue the course of treatment for the time period that your doctor suggested.
