I am 30 and diagnosed with high blood pressure (160/100). Doctor recommended I take stamlo 5 mg. After one week my blood pressure is 154/96. I m diabetic and high blood pressure. I take stamlos in morning and aten 25H in night but still my BP is 80/170 , why this difference. Once I took Inditel H for just a day that time my bp was 70/140 , so can i use Inditel H instead of Aten25 H . Diabetic ranges from 250-350. i take insulin 30/70, glucomet and reclimet . Please suggest. I m 70 years old.

I am a patient of Type2 Diabetes for last 13 years aided with High BP. I have been taking StamloT for the last 3 years approx. I used to have a dose of Stamlo5 & Stamlo2.5 prior to that for 9 years approx. Alongwith I used to take Amaryl 1 tablets for BloodSugar for last 5 years or so. Recently around 10 days back I checked my BloodSugar with a result - Hb1ac 8.1percent & PP 268 .Doctor has changed the medicine from Amaryl 1 to Glyree500 & Galvus 50 for regular consumption. Should I continue to have StamloT for my BP Alongwith the above mentioned medicine? Is it safe or should I change my BP medicine to something else ? Awaiting your imm reply. SUBIR

I am a T 2 DM patient for last few years. The following medicines are taken for last few months. Amryl 1 OD, Volibo 0.3 TDS, Clopitab 75 ODPC, Gabantin 100 BD, Fibator 10 OD, Losar H OD , Losar A OD and Prazopress XL 2.5 OD. As my BP was observed as 160/70 on 4/10/12, Doctor changed the medicines for Hypertension instead of Losar A, and Losar H to Stamlo 10 and Prazopress XL 5.For last 3/4 days my anklet and feet are seen to be swelling. My father, age 60 recently had an heart attack resulting drug coated stain in his 3 main arteries near about 2 months ago. recently he is having a issue with his BP & pulse rate.this are increasing abruptly : sys-194 dia-94 & pulse-105. it happened two days ago. Our house physician at that moment suggested us to give him STAMLO 2.5mg. Using that the problem was solved for that time. But today at about 8:20 pm, the BP & pulse rate increases again : sys-176 dia-105 pulse-96. We have given him STAMLO 2.5 mg again. I am a regular user of Stamlo beta and recently ankle pain has developed in my left toe. Further in recent blood tests creatinine serum value is also found 1.43mg/dl against max limit of 1.2mg/dl. I have an High BP.Dr. prescribed me above medicine as a cure. It has brought down my BP. Dr.Suggested to stop but told me that it is not harmful if you consume once a day.therefore I am consuming one tablet at the time of bed in the night when taken with Vobose ,0.3 mg & Ecosprin-75,does it have any adverse effect?.I am getting dizziness& my hand shakes while writing.I can not write straight. Hello, I am a 42 year old male. My BP is 116/78, AEC 0.94, LPC - (CH-220, TG - 128, HDL-42, LDL-152.4, VLDL-25.6/RATIO 5.2), HB - 14.3, TLC 9.700. DLC (P 64.3, L 18.6, M 7.1, E 9.7, B 0.3), Platelets - 206. My doc advised me to take STAMLO 5mg & ECOSPRIN AV 75. I am a smoker, non-vegetarian and alcoholic (occasionally). Is it harmful for me take alcohol along with the usage of these medicines?

I am taking Stamlo 2.5. My blood pressure is under control 70-130 but I am getting ankle edema. Can I switch over to Losar H 25? Will it be good substitute for Stamlo 2.5.? I am taking Stamlo 5 since 2 years Recently I went to a doctor and did not inform him that I was taking Stamlo. He prescribed Calcium tabl4ets. Since then I am feeling itching . Is it due to interaction of the two ? Should I discontinue calcium ?

My BP is always around 120/80 and 130/80 when i used to take Stamlobeta for the past 30 years. Ever since my physician changed this drug to Met XL T 50, my BP levels have never comedown to the earlier levels. Though i do not have symptoms, whenever i check my bp it was showing around 150/90 or 160/90. When asked my doc he said i should continue with the same medicine.
