Stage 4 Breast Cancer

I know someone with stage 4 breast cancer. It has spread to her liver, she has a tumor on her breast bone, etc. How has H-86 worked against this aggressive stage of cancer? ## Hi Michelle, From what I understand, there are no real reports of H-86 being a legitimate cancer drug. There are less than a handful of vague articles that briefly state it's use for such treatments. One other user on here found information claiming it to be a type of fermented wheat germ; however I personally have yet to come across any specific details linking them to one another. If anyone else out there has more information on this H-86 substance, please do share! On a side note, I would like to add that there are several (yes, several) other types of natural cancer killers out there if you do the research...

I had incurred stage 2 breast cancer because of taking Femhrt!! I would like to know what recourse I have??? ## I was diagnosed with stage 1-2 triple negative breast cancer and the first thing my doctor told me was to stop the Femhrt. I would like to know if I have any recourse? ## I am 51. I took the pill (Loestrin) to regulate my periods during perimenopause, and now that I'm thru it my doctor has put me on Femhrt. My doctor (as well as others I solicited advice from) ALL insisted that the benefits of Femhrt far outway the risks. I am so scared about the risks though. My symtpoms are things I can live with, but I am taking the Femhrt now (have for about 6 months) because my doctor i so insistant about its benefits. I am very interested in your input on this matter. God bless you. ...

From right breast cancer removed and 12 lymph nodes also removed. After that it went to my liver, right lung and then my brain. Due to all the extreme surgeries I am in awful pain. Even though I take methadone, oxycodone and hydrocodone 750, January 1,2014 no more 750's. Pain 1 to 10 , I am A TEN. ## Hello, Lola! How are you doing? I'm very sorry that you're in so much pain, I hate to see anyone suffer. And yes, that is correct, there will not be anymore combination prescription products available with that amount of Acetaminophen after the new year. Have you discussed the issue with your doctor? They may be able to adjust the dose of one of your other medications to help you more.

I'll be 84yrs.old in a few weeks and weigh 87lbs. Have been diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer. Dr. had to look real hard to find it, no lump detected but advised surgery and lymph node removal and radiation. I've been looking on the web and I think I have a bigger chance of dying from other causes than breast cancer at my age and weight. I'm active (golf twice a week) and healthy now and don't think I would be after surgery. Anyone else in this situation or has been? ## Really, at your age both the surgery and cancer treatments are likely to be more rough on you than the cancer itself. To be honest, if it were me and I was 84, I'd say no and would choose to live whatever time I had left not being sick and miserable. My dad is 83, he'll be 84 in January and he ...

I have been using my Fentanly Compound Cream in a very low dose (micrograms) for over 13 years. I have now been told by my Medicare part D plan that the Fentanyl Citrate Bulk Powder lacks an Food and Drug (FDA) approved new drug application (NDA) Abbreviated New Drug Application and therefore is not eligible as a Part D benefit and is not covered under a Part D Prescription Drug Plan. The first denial was that Part D did not cover compound medications...then the lack...

I started Effexor in December of 2013 after having taken Prozac for years. I had a daughter in law diagnosed in October of that year with stage 4 breast cancer. Her husband, my son, has always had money problems, no matter how much he makes. My daughter in law is a great gal, and I was really pressured to spend money I didn't have, very stressful time for a 67 year old gal. I started with the Effexor because I was having trouble sleeping, started having hot flashes again, lots of mental anxiety. Recently I started having a clanging noise in my head, bowel problems, and really irritable and depressed. I went to have several tests done, all negative for any serious disease or health problem. The financial and health problems with my son and daughter in law have been taken care of the ...

I have stage IV breast cancer. After being unable to control cancer with different endocrine therapy my oncologist put me on Fulvestrant. The main problem that I have had is joint pain that has been made worse because of history of arithis. I have gained a considerable amount of weight (25 lb) which has made joint pain worse. My general practitioner put me on Belviq to help lose some weight. I am unsure if I should take it even though she said it wouldn't interfere with Fulvertrant. In the past my oncologist wouldn't discuss any weight control options even though he is aware of joint pain. His solution was to eat less and exercise more. I exercise 3 times a week in therapeutic pool and eat healthy. I really don't want to up pain medication. I believe weight loss would help j...

I am diagnosed with breast cancer stage 2 six months ago and had bilateral mastectomy and after that prescribed with Taomxifen-Nolvadex. I am taking two tablets per day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, meaning 20mg per day. My CA is positive in progesteron and estrogen. My brother bought me Graviola as he was told that is a good one for cancer, but I am afraid to have it with tamoxifen, If someone knows anything please tell me. And my periods did not stop yet I have them on monthly basis and my gynecologist now insists to remove both ovaries and uterus. ## Hello I'm looking for that information too. Maybe we can talk about your experience. My wife is the patient and I have been researching for a lot. ## Unfortunately, over the counter herbs, and supplements have not bee...

I am a stage IV cancer patient and member of an invitational research and survey type website. Members primarily consist of other stage IV cancer patients, but in some cases, may be the caregiver of a stage IV patient. A little over a month ago, a caregiver launched a blog-like diary of sorts. He states his wife has end-stage, metastasized, breast cancer. His postings started with news his wife had to be hospitalized when she began the dying process and indicating shut-down. However, many of his statements do not sound clinically correct or even possible. For example, after she was admitted to the hospice section of the hospital, he stated she emerged from days of a coma-like state to experience what he called a rally. This rally consisted of engaging in conversation with himself and ho...

Im on the last drug which is taxoen or something like that, but I am having alot of bone pain which I cant hardly take and I have to work and my oncologist will not prescibe me any narcotics, I have heard from many people that taking clartin-D along with a pain med immensely makes the bone pain better but my dr only tells me to take the claritn D which does nothing for me. high estrogen ## Hello, Are you referring to Armidex? If so, my research tells me that Arimidex (the brand name for the main ingredient Anastrozole) is an aromatase inhibitor that helps prevent the production of estrogen, a hormone that fuels many breast cancer tumors. Aromatase inhibitors can block the enzyme aromatase, a substance that helps your body tissues produce estrogen. Arimidex is considered a hormonal treatment, and can help prevent recurrence (return) of breast cancer. Possible side effects (patients with early stage breast cancer have reported these symptoms): -hot flashes -joint pain -weakness -mood swings -sore throat -nausea and vomiting -depression -high blood pressure -osteoporosis (bone thinning) -swelling of arms and/or legs -headache You can learn more about this dr...
