side effects ## From what I was able to gather, Stafloxin in from the Philippines, and is classed as a penicillin. It is used pneumonia, septicemia, endocarditis, infected prosthesis, acute staphylococcal osteomyelitis, skin & soft tissue infections, infected burns & staphylococcal joint infections, staphylococcal meningitis, enterocolitis; emphysema & other resp tract infections; UTI. Common side effects are: Nausea, diarrhea, flatulence, headache; hypersensitivity reactions, transient SGOT & SGPT elevation, occasional reversible cholestatic jaundice, renal effects in newborn & infants receiving high doses, aggravated CHF (high dose).
