Dr advised my wife to take this tablet "Dubagest SR 300" after detecting the pregnancy. In its brochure its clearly mentioned that it can be continued for 12 weeks after pregnancy. Now 12 weeks are over but still this tab is prescribed by Dr to continue for more four weeks . Pls advise whether this is ok. Secondly in Contraindication "Dont" of its brochure its mentioned that Progenterone "This tablet" should not be used by women in case of known or suspected pregnancy. What does this mean? Hello, I'm not sure if this is common or not, over the last 4 or 5 years I was on wellbutrin off and on,(mostly on). In the past when I started up again, I always knew it was working because for the first roughly two weeks I would get all the common side effects: Insomnia,tremors, anxiety, even a little paranoia, and of course loss of appetite. After about 2 or 3 months I usually would loose a good 15 pounds or so while taking the medication. Do to an insurance issue I was off the medication for about year. I have read all the problems people are having with the generic versions of the Wellbutrin XL but I have had similar problems with the change in generics for Wellbutrin SR. I originally took 300 to 400 mgs of Wellbutrin SR manufactured by Watson. I have had several changes but did okay on the Wellbutrin by Watson and Sandoz. I started on a course of Bup. XL of 150 mg for the first week and then double that the second week. Mornings which had been so difficult for me were great, but when I switched to the 300, I had terrible insomnia, and trouble reading. So the doctor switched me to Bup. SR 200 mg, and I am back to exhausted again. I have plenty of the XL left and am considering switching back and maybe cutting the second pill in half. Ive been taking the SR for a long time. I had a siezure Aug 2008. My Dr has kept me on this med. w/ok from Nuerologist. My doctor has prescribed that I take Bupropian SR once a day (totaling 300 mg). This was after easing into the medication by taking Bupropian SR at only 150 mg for the first week. After three weeks at the full dosage (300 mg SR once a day), I was feeling like my best self. When I went to get a new script, he gave me the option of either staying on the SR (2 tablets once a day) or changing to 300 mg of the Bupropian XL. my 18 year old son has been diagnosed with severe depression. His psychiatrist has him on 2 capsules daily of fluoxetine HCL 20 mg each along with 2 tablets daily of Budeprrion SR 150 mg each. To me, this seems like an awful lot of drugs for a young person to handle. They don't seem to be working. I was taking Bupropion 150 mg SR twice per day ( so i was taking a total of 300 mg per day). Then my Dr switched me to the bupropion HCL 150 mg XL once per day and said it was the same as taking 300 mg per day. It doesn't seem right to me. Any thoughts on why this makes sense? ## Your doctor may be referring to the notion that 150mgs of extended release Bupropion is similar to taking it twice per day; since it remains in your system for a much longer period of time. Perhaps it is still in your system by the time you would've previously taken your second dose. It's not 100% clear to me, but that's the only logical reasoning I can think of.
