11 Topics FoundMy doctor prescribed me Hydroco 7.5 500 mg. I also take Spironolact and Pantoprazole 40 mg. Hydroco seems too strong for me, so I cut it in half. I was wondering if that is o.k? I am diagnosed with Cirohsis of the liver and I have poor circulation on my legs, and they are very swollen, so I take Hydroco for pain. I also have anemia and an umbilical hernia. Oh and by the way I have an enlarged heart. ## Although I can't give you a definite answer, as long as the drug is not an extended release tablet, cutting it in half shouldn't hurt you.
