My husband has been taking this medication for several years now, and I was wondering if this could lower his sperm count? He also takes Trilipix DR 135 MG, and has a past of heavy use of Xanax, and he does drink alcohol. And has been under a lot of stress. Is there anyway this would affect his sperm count? ## Has he been tested and shown to have a low sperm count? There are many things that may affect it and drinking alcohol can definitely have an effect on his fertility.

My husband got prescribed the medication - LIPIDIL (Fenofibrate) 145mg x 1 tablet daily, another medication is - SIMVAR (Simvastatin) 40mg x 1 tablet daily, mainly to lower his cholesterol level and triglycerides in the blood. Myself and my wife trying from past 4 yrs and no success. Consulted 3 different fertility centers, however as per report there is no significant issue from either one of us. My sperm count is 40 mn/ml and this time Doctor asked to have Conceva M for 3 months and asked my wife to EOva M 100mg from 2nd to 6th day and Duphaston 10mg from 16th to 25th day for 3 months.
