I've talked about this problem before concerning the side effects from Spiriva. The only side effect I've experienced was a sudden, and seemingly permanent weight gain. In spite of efforts to lose the weight I've had no success whatsoever. I've gained weight from other medications in the past only to lose it when the medication was discontinued. Not so with Spiriva. It has been almost three years since I've used the inhaler but yet the added weight persists. I should mention that all of the added weight has been on the midsection and nowhere else! To make matters worse has been a disended abdomen to go along with it. I contacted the drug company right after it happened and, naturally, they acted as if it was new to them! I'm not the only one this has happened to.......

I am addicted to Spasmo Proxyvon for the last 10 years and I have been taking a minimum of 18 Capsules in a Day. I have tried to stop taking it but couldn't do that as whenever i try to stop, I go into Depression which doesnot allows me to take interest in my work, feel muscular pain, could not sleep the whole night. Ans when I start taking it again I feel like enjoying my work, feel good like in a normal life, though I get irritated with people for small reasons. Hi, all- So the general rule of thumb I've always known is the lower the dose, the higher the chance of spotting/breakthrough bleeding. However, my doctor advised me that LO loestrin might actually lessen the change of intermenstrual bleeding because at a certain point, the dose gets so low that the lining of the uterus doesn't build up sufficiently for any bleeding to occur at all. My question: has anyone had experience with taking both Loestrin and Lo Loestrin? Did you experience, more, less, or the same amount of spotting/breakthrough bleeding between periods? We've started my daughter on sprintec 28 birth control pills 21 days ago to regulate her menstrual cycle. She started her period 13 days after she starrted taking the pill - this is the 11th day and she is still bleeding. Very heavy at times.
